Healthcare facilities generate medical waste. If not properly managed, medical waste may damage the environment and spread diseases. Many hospitals in Indonesia do not adhere to medical waste management regulations. This study aimed to evaluate the management of solid medical waste at four public hospitals in Bogor District, Indonesia. A case study design was used to obtain a comprehensive description of the solid medical waste management activities inthe hospitals. Data were collected through direct observations, interviews, and document reviews. This study revealed that the medical waste generated in allhospitals was infectious, pathological, pharmaceutical, chemical, and cytotoxic, totaling approximately 4,000-12,000 kg. …

This study aimed to develop and validate a questionnaire that could be used to determine how personal, environmental, and occupational factors influence drivers' perceptions of seating ergonomics. The successful implementation of the family planning method might be influenced by how the decision to choose a contraceptive method was made. This study aimed to examine the correlation between family planning decision-makers and modern contraceptive use among married/in-union women of reproductive age in Uzbekistan. Identifying specific tuberculosis (TB) vulnerabilities in populations based on their geographical, demographic, and epidemiological characteristics is anessential yet challenging requirement to help reduce and eliminate TB. Assessment tools that can accurately quantify the risks associated with key factorscould be used to measure TB vulnerability efficiently and indicate the most appropriate range of interventions. Penelitian ini membahas pemenuhan standar pelayanan Kesehatan ibu terhadap penggunaan metode KB Pascapersalinan dengan tujuan mengetahui hubungan antara pemenuhan standar pelayanan Kesehatan ibu terhadap penggunaan metode KB pascapersalinan di NTT, Sulawesi Barat, Maluku. Desain studi cross-sectional dengan analisis multivariabel regresi logistik menggunakan data sekunder SDKI 2017. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebesar 404 sampel dengan rincian NTT (151), Sulawesi Barat (115), Maluku (138) pada WUS yang pernah melahirkan anak hidup dalam periode satu tahun terakhir dan menggunakan metode KB pascapersalinan periode 42 hari setelah melahirkan. Apart from changing meal times, Ramadan fasting also has the potential to change sleep duration due to sahoor (before the dawn) activities that must be done. Ergogenic supplements can enhance exercise performance. However, many gym members use them without consulting professionals such as nutritionists/dietitians, increasing the risk of adverse effects. This study investigates the consumption of ergogenic supplements and factors associated with them among members of selected fitness centers in Jakarta. This cross-sectional study was conducted on 116 participants from 3 fitness centers in Jakarta. The independent variables studied were Muscle Dysmorphia, Exercise Addiction, self-esteem, body image, age, gender, exercise duration, exercise experience, exercise intensity, and social media exposure. Ultra-processed food/UPF is a product that undergoes a series of industrial techniques and processes, also has low nutritional value. Overconsumption of UPF can increase the risk of overweight and obesity. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in the proportion of UPF consumption based on individual characteristics, environmental factors, and lifestyle factors among non-health undergraduate students in Universitas Indonesia in 2023. The Sodium-Glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor represents a novel agent for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Drugs of this class function by inhibiting glucose reabsorption in the kidneys, thereby controlling blood glucose levels. It is known that SGLT2 inhibitors activate the AMPK signaling pathway by increasing the expression and activity of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). In vivo tests have demonstrated that ethanolic and aqueous extracts of Welsh onion leaves (Allium fistulosum L) can reduce body weight, liver weight, adipocyte size, and enhance AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) expression. This study examines the implementation of corporate social responsibility through the Livelihood Restoration Program (LRP) by Institution X. The study employs a qualitative approach with descriptive research methodology. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews and literature review. The study is motivated by land acquisition conducted by PT Y, which affected the livelihoods of the local community. Consequently, PT Y initiated livelihood restoration for the affected community through the LRP managed by Institution X.
