Men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender persons of color experience disproportionate, multi-level HIV risks. Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is an evidence-based HIV prevention strategy; however, access to PrEP has been limited among this population. PrEP demonstration projects that target MSM and transgender persons and test the implementation of PrEP in real-world settings are underway. However, PrEP demonstration projects specific to MSM and transgender persons of color are limited and most demonstration projects do not consider the impact of the implementation process or organization contextual characteristics on PrEP outcomes. Background: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age, associated with complications of metabolic, reproductive, and psychological health. Adolescence is an optimal time for early identification of PCOS in order to mitigate long-term health risks. Pediatric primary care providers (pedPCPs) are the first-line for early identification and coordination of longterm comprehensive management. At the Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library, librarians conduct instruction sessions on various aspects of evidencebased medicine for first- and second-year medical students. One of these sessions, the Chest Pain Formative Observed Simulated Clinical Experience (FOSCE), introduces the Framingham Study, later cohort studies, and the Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD) Risk Calculator to first-year medical students. This calculator includes race as an input and over or underestimates risk for certain groups. This session previously mentioned the need to diversify study populations and described the evolution of the algorithm, but it did not highlight these as critical issues for discussion. Researcher profile systems are web-based tools which attempt to capture the scholarly output of a researcher. Some tools such as Google Scholar profiles and ORCiDs are opt-in systems that researchers must actively create and cultivate. Others such as the Scopus author profile are algorithmically generated and must be claimed by an author and checked for accuracy.

These profiles continue to grow in importance as a way for fellow researchers, potential employers, and possible collaborators to learn about a researcher’s scholarship. Therefore, it’s important for researchers to maintain these profiles and to ensure that they are accurate and complete.

Background: Ineffective teamwork and communication increase the risk of adverse patient outcomes. An evidence-based teamwork training intervention was implemented to improve teamwork and communication.

Aims /Objectives: The team participated in a TeamSTEPPS® training program. The aims and objectives were to improve the staff’s attitudes and perceptions of teamwork and communication; pre, post and sustained at 30-days, reduce the number of documented near misses and measure for daily use of the newly acquired skills.

Background: Equitable care remains a goal of the United States healthcare system, with cultural competency training used as one intervention to mitigate disparities. Cultural competency education is primarily based on racial and ethnic differences, often omitting other marginalized groups. Background: Buprenorphine (BNX) is used in Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) deterrence. Optimal long-term duration with BNX is unclear, but evidence shows that there is a high risk for relapse when medicine is discontinued even if maintenance has been stable for some time.

Outcomes: The purpose of this project was to decrease barriers for providers implementing BNX therapy for individuals diagnosed with OUD.
