Background A well group acts as a multi-well synergistic unit, and its configuration directly determines both the selection of optimal injection–production process and the utilization efficiency of stratigraphic conditions, ultimately affecting the overall performance of resource recovery. Methods Using numerical simulations, this study assessed the performance of autothermic pyrolysis in situ conversion (ATS) under three vertical well group configurations: one injection well and one production well (1I1P), one injection well surrounded by four production wells (1I4P), and one injection well surrounded by six production wells (1I6P). Background The efficient application of depth migration methods has enabled the extensive implementation of depth-domain seismic data interpretation. Background In recent years, promising helium-rich natural gas shows have been discovered in the Dongping gas field. However, the helium resources in the gas field exhibit lateral heterogeneity and vertical differential accumulation in multiple sequences, which restrict the further exploration of these resources. Objective and Method The Xujiaweizi Fault Depression in the Songliao Basin contains multiple helium-bearing gas fields. However, the assessment methods for helium resources and helium accumulation patterns in the fault depression are yet to be determined. Objective The Daning-Jixian block on the eastern margin of the Ordos Basin has achieved large-scale production of deep coalbed methane (CBM), with nearly 150 horizontal wells having been put into production. However, with a gradual decrease in formation energy during CBM production, gas wells exhibit declining liquid-carrying capacity. Consequently, liquid accumulation in wellbores has become a major factor affecting deep CBM production. Objective The Da’an area in Jilin Province, located in the southwestern Central Depression of the Songliao Basin, exhibits significant geothermal anomalies, which suggest substantial potential for geothermal exploitation. To address this challenge, determining the anomalous responses of water inrushes from stope floors has emerged as a focus of research on water disaster prevention and control. This research demonstrates the successful production of biodiesel from waste cooking oil (WCO) using the transesterification method. A methoxide solution, formed by employing a base catalyst and alcohol, facilitated the conversion of triglycerides into methyl esters and glycerol as the byproduct. The conversion process yielded 74% biodiesel and 13.5% glycerol content, with the remaining proportion consisting of water and contaminants. The application of ozone (O3) aeration proved effective in reducing contaminants—such as alcohol, unreacted catalysts, food residues and water—by approximately 60%. We employed the innovative freeze–thaw method to investigate the effect of chitosan (CS) molecular weights incorporated into polyvinyl alcohol on the morphology and physical characteristics of the hydrogel. This study aimed to unravel the intricate relationships between CS molecular weight variations, CS concentration, and the number of freeze–thaw cycles (4 or 6 cycles) on hydrogel swelling degree and weight loss. Incorporating CS improved the hydrogel structure and enhanced its porosity, resulting in remarkable increases in swelling degree ranging from 2 to 6 times the initial weight. This thesis focuses on the mechanical behaviour of ABS which is an advanced polymer material produced by 3D printing. The ABS specimens used in this work were prepared by fused deposition modelling (FDM) to compare the compressive and tensile strength with ASTM D 695. Critical settings within the range of 3D printing process including layer height, fill angle and density were adjusted to investigate the impact on ABS mechanical properties. This study shows results of development of the ``frame-boiler'' system with hysteresis dampers analytical model. Hysteresis dampers are used as boiler antiseismic bracing. It is noted that simplified analytical models are necessary at the stage of preliminary iterative calculations, when a CAE-modeling is impractical due to significant time costs. The authors have proposed 2 options of analytical models: 2-mass model and 3-mass model. The differential equations of motion for each model are written below. This paper investigates innovative Hemp Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (HFRP) rebars as a sustainable alternative to conventional Carbon Steel (CS) and Glass Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) rebars used as reinforcement in concrete structures. The feasibility of HFRP rebars is assessed, focusing on mechanical properties and sustainability advantages. A virtual tensile test on a modeled M19 HFRP rebar, conducted using Autodesk's Fusion 360, demonstrates tensile strength comparable to CS 235 and greater environmental sustainability than GFRP, despite a slight reduction in stiffness. The 2030 Vision, which KSA unveiled with the goal of building a more sustainable and diverse economy, led to a number of projects, such as the national renewable energy program, the Saudi green initiative, and the circular carbon economy.
