Potential benefits of multiscreen and multiple device environments were assessed using three different computing environments. A single factor, within-subject study was conducted with 18 engineering students in a laboratory experiment. Three levels for the computing environment factor included one with a desktop computer with a single monitor (control, condition A); one with a desktop with dual monitors, as well as a single tablet computer (condition B); and one with a desktop with a single monitor, as well as two tablet computers (condition C). The UAS PILOTS CODE (UASPC) offers recommendations to advance flight safety, ground safety, airmanship, and professionalism.6 It presents a vision of excellence for UAS pilots and operators, and includes general guidance for all types of UAS. The UASPC offers broad guidance—a set of values—to help a pilot interpret and apply standards and regulations, and to confront real world challenges to avoid incidents and accidents. It is designed to help UAS pilots develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), effective risk management,7 safety management systems (SMS), and to encourage UAS pilots to consider themselves aviators and participants in the broader aviation community.

Private sector U.S. defense contractors failing to meet contract objectives experience lower profitability, pay costly penalties, and risk survivability. Using the theory of contracts, the purpose of this multiple case study was to the explore strategies that some leaders of U.S. defense contracting businesses use to meet all the contract terms with the U.S. Department of Defense. This paper presents research done on prediction modeling using a data analytics approach to determine various factors affecting the piezoelectric properties of the 3D printed pressure sensors. Previously, the material extrusion 3D printing technique was used to fabricate pressure sensors composed of multiwall carbon nanotubes (CNT), barium titanate (BT), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) using simple fabrication and low-cost methods. This sensor produced a voltage output of 725 mV (0.13 pC/N) which is enough for pressure sensing applications. The morphology of fibers (e.g. spatial uniformity, orientation, and length) plays a decisive role in determining the material properties or fabrication quality of fiber-reinforced nanocomposites. Hence, determining the morphology becomes a very critical issue in the field of nanocomposite quality control. The conventional way of quality inspection is to take the scanning electron microscopic (SEM) images of the cross-section of composite material and do the visual checking of these SEM images to evaluate the nanofiber alignment and length distribution. This dissertation presents methodologies to determine ordering policies for a 2-echelon inventory system with multiple replenishing modes under seasonal demand. The system operates on periodic review basis using reorder point and order-up-to point or (R,s,S). An Echelon stock concept is applied where each location makes decisions on its own inventory information and the information of all locations downstream. ตัวแบบพยากรณ์อัตรามรณะที่ได้รับความนิยมมากที่สุดคือตัวแบบของลีและคาร์เตอร์ (Lee-Carter Model, LC) ซึ่งพิจารณาปัจจัย 2 ปัจจัยคือปีและอายุ และประมาณค่าพารามิเตอร์ด้วยวิธี Singular Value Decomposition (LC-SVD) และตัวแบบ Lee - Carter ที่ประมาณค่าพารามิเตอร์ด้วยวิธี Maximum Likelihood Estimation (LC-MLE) งานวิจัยนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อพยากรณ์อัตรามรณะประชากรไทยจำแนกตามปี ช่วงอายุ เพศ และภูมิภาค โดยใช้ตัวแบบ 2 ตัวแบบ ได้แก่ 1. ตัวแบบการถดถอยแบบพหุคูณไม่เป็นเชิงเส้น (Nonlinear Multiple Regression, NLMR) ซึ่งจะแบ่งชุดข้อมูลตามอายุจำนวน 5 ช่วงอายุ ช่วงอายุละ 20 ปี ได้แก่ 1-19, … , 80-99 ปี และ 2. ตัวแบบ 2-Tier Augmented Common Factor (2-TACF) ที่ประมาณค่าพารามิเตอร์ด้วยวิธี MLE บนสมมติฐานที่ว่าจำนวนการตายของประชากรมีการแจกแจงแบบปัวซง จากการเปรียบเทียบความคลาดเคลื่อนของตัวแบบที่นำเสนอกับตัวแบบต้นฉบับ 2 ตัวแบบ ได้แก่ ตัวแบบ LC-SVD และ LC-MLE โดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ยความคลาดเคลื่อนกำลังสอง (Mean Square Error, MSE) และค่าเฉลี่ยของร้อยละความผิดพลาดสัมบูรณ์ (Mean Absolute Percentage Error, MAPE) พบว่าตัวแบบโดยภาพรวมที่ให้ค่า MSE ต่ำที่สุด คือ LC-MLE ทั้ง In-Sample Data และ Out-Sample Data ส่วนตัวแบบโดยภาพรวมที่ให้ค่า MAPE ต่ำที่สุด คือตัวแบบ 2-TACF และ LC-SVD สำหรับ In-Sample Data และ Out-Sample …

เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นชนิดม้วน ที่ผ่านกรรมวิธีการผลิตโดยกระบวนการอบอ่อนแบบเตาอบ พบว่าค่าสมบัติเชิงกลของเหล็กแผ่นจะมีความผันแปรในแต่ละตำแหน่งของความยาวม้วน โดยปัจจัยสำคัญในกระบวนการอบอ่อนได้แก่ อุณหภูมิการอบอ่อน และเวลาที่ใช้ในการอบอ่อน ถูกนำมาวิเคราะห์ถึงสาเหตุของความผันแปรของค่าสมบัติเชิงกล วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ทดลองโดยใช้เหล็กแผ่นรีดเย็นที่ผ่านกระบวนการรีดในอุตสาหกรรมที่สัดส่วนการถูกรีดในสัดส่วนการรีดที่เท่ากัน และนำมาผ่านกระบวนการอบอ่อนโดยควบคุมอุณหภูมิการอบอ่อน และเวลาที่ใช้ในการอบอ่อน ในห้องปฏิบัติการ โดยอุณหภูมิการอบอ่อน ได้แก่ 570, 610, 650, 700◦C และเวลาที่ใช้ในการอบอ่อน ได้แก่ 0.5, 1, 2 ชั่วโมง จากนั้นนำชิ้นงานไปตรวจวัดค่าสมบัติเชิงกล ได้แก่ ค่าความเค้นคราก ค่าความเค้นแรงดึงสูงสุด ค่าเปอร์เซ็นต์การยืดตัว และค่าความแข็ง รวมถึงตรวจสอบโครงสร้างจุลภาคในเนื้อเหล็ก ผลการทดสอบพบว่า (1) การเพิ่มอุณหภูมิการอบอ่อน ส่งผลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ต่อการลดลงอย่างของค่าความเค้นคราก ค่าความเค้นแรงดึงสูงสุด และค่าความแข็ง แต่ในส่วนค่าเปอร์เซ็นต์การยืดตัว มีค่าสูงขึ้น (2) การเพิ่มเวลาที่ใช้ในการอบอ่อน ส่งผลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ต่อค่าสมบัติเชิงกลเช่นเดียวกันกับการเพิ่มอุณหภูมิการอบอ่อน (3) ที่อุณหภูมิการอบอ่อน 650◦C และเวลาที่ใช้ในการอบอ่อน 2 ชั่วโมง ให้ผลลัพธ์ค่าสมบัติเชิงกล มีค่าใกล้เคียงค่าเป้าหมาย (4) ขนาดของโครงสร้างจุลภาคในเนื้อเหล็กมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นเมื่ออุณหภูมิในการอบอ่อนเพิ่มมากขึ้น (5) ปัจจัยได้แก่อุณหภูมิการอบอ่อน และเวลาที่ใช้ในการอบอ่อน นั้นส่งผลกระทบต่อความผันแปรของค่าสมบัติเชิงกลของชิ้นงานทดสอบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ

การศึกษาวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ความแตกต่างของผู้รับบริการแต่ละชนชาติที่ส่งผลต่อคุณลักษณะคุณภาพบริการแตกต่างกันและ 2) ปัจจัยคุณลักษณะคุณภาพบริการที่ส่งผลต่อความพึงพอใจในแต่ละชนชาติ งานวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ โดยใช้เทคนิคตามมาตรวัด SERVQUAL ในการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจกับผู้รับบริการที่มาใช้บริการโรงแรมหรู ระดับ 5 ดาวแห่งหนึ่ง ในกรุงเทพมหานคร ตัวอย่างจำนวน 400 ชุด ทำการวิเคราะห์โดยใช้สถิติพรรณนา ประกอบด้วยค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วน เบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติเชิงอนุมานในการทดสอบสมมติฐาน โดยการทดสอบด้วยวิธีการวิเคราะห์ความสำคัญและผลการปฏิบัติงาน สร้างโมเดลสมการโครงสร้างและการวิเคราะห์สมการถดถอยพหุคูณเพื่อทดสอบสมมติฐานของการวิจัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มผู้รับบริการแต่ละชนชาติมีคุณลักษณะคุณภาพบริการที่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ 0.05 และความกลมกลืนของโมเดลสมการโครงสร้างมีความ สอดคล้องตามเกณฑ์ที่ยอมรับได้ดังนี้ ค่าCMIN/DF เท่ากับ 3.428 ค่าGFI เท่ากับ 0.914 ค่าCFI เท่ากับ 0.971 ค่าRMR เท่ากับ 0.017 และค่าRMSEA เท่ากับ 0.078 แสดงให้เห็นว่า ชนชาติที่แตกต่างกันสามารถส่งผลต่อคุณลักษณะคุณภาพบริการอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 คุณลักษณะคุณภาพบริการเป็นตัวแปรส่งผลต่อความพึงพอใจอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ท้ายที่สุดงานวิจัยได้อภิปรายผลและให้ข้อเสนอแนะในการสร้างความพึงพอใจจากคุณลักษณะคุณภาพบริการแต่ละชนชาติไว้อย่างสัมฤทธิ์ผล ซึ่งทำให้ความพึงพอใจเพิ่มขึ้นจากร้อยละ 92.15 เป็น 94.36

การศึกษานี้มุ่งเน้นการปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพของเครื่องตัดผ้าใบประกอบยางเครื่องบิน ซึ่งทำการศึกษาการจัดวิธีการทำงานโดยใช้ Single Minute Exchange of Die method (SMED) และศึกษาการปรับปรุงขั้นตอนการทำงานของชุด splicer โดยประยุกต์ใช้ Design of Experiment (DOE). เพื่อที่จะลดเวลาสูญเสียที่เกิดการรอคอยของเครื่องจักรและการรอคอยของพนักงาน โดยการปรับปรุงมี 3 ส่วนหลัก คือ การศึกษาการตั้งเครื่องจักรภายในและการตั้งเครื่องจักรภายนอก มีการเพิ่มพนักงาน 1 คนต่อกะ มาทำงานในตำแหน่งพนักงานตั้งค่าเครื่องจักรภายนอก เพื่อให้เครื่องตัดผ้าใบประกอบยางเครื่องบินมีเวลาสูญเสียในการหยุดเครื่องจักรที่น้อยที่สุด และลดมูลค่าการเสียโอกาสในกรณีที่ไม่สามารถผลิตยางได้ตามความต้องการของลูกค้าได้ การศึกษาหาค่าที่เหมาะสมที่สุดในการตั้งค่าพารามิเตอร์ของชุด splicer และการปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพการทำงานของเครื่องจักร ข้อมูลหลังการปรับปรุงเครื่องตัดผ้าใบประกอบยางเครื่องบินจากเดือน กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2561 ถึงเดือนสิงหาคม พ.ศ.2561 พบว่าผลผลิตเพิ่มขึ้นจาก 23 ม้วนต่อกะ เป็น 28 ม้วนต่อกะ ซึ่งทำให้ประสิทธิภาพของเครื่องตัดผ้าใบประกอบยางเครื่องบินเพิ่มสูงขึ้นด้วย จาก 81.3% เป็น 85.4 % และลดมูลค่าความเสียโอกาสในกรณีที่ไม่สามารถผลิตตามความต้องการของลูกค้าได้ถึง 36.4 ล้านบาทต่อปี

ระบบการผลิตต้องพบเจอกับสถานการณ์ความไม่แน่นอนต่างๆ และความเปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่เสมอ ดังนั้นการปรับปรุงระบบการผลิตอย่างต่อเนื่องจึงมีความสำคัญอย่างมาก แต่ถึงอย่างไรระบบการผลิตส่วนมากก็จะมีองค์ประกอบและการดำเนินงานที่มีความซับซ้อน ทำให้ยากต่อการพิจารณาว่าควรดำเนินการปรับปรุงอย่างไร และหากดำเนินการปรับปรุงผิดพลาดก็จะส่งผลให้ต้องสูญเสียทั้งเวลาและทรัพยากร ดังนั้นงานวิจัยฉบับนี้จึงต้องการนำเสนอกระบวนการวิเคราะห์ระบบการผลิต เพื่อเป็นเครื่องมือที่ช่วยให้ผู้ประกอบการสามารถตรวจสอบได้ถึงประเด็นปัญหาที่สำคัญที่ระบบการผลิตจำเป็นต้องดำเนินการปรับปรุง และนำเสนอถึงแนวทางการปรับปรุงที่เหมาะสม โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการผลิตของระบบการผลิต ให้ได้มาซึ่งระบบการผลิตที่สามารถตอบสนองต่อความต้องการได้ตามต้องการ และยังต้องตอบสนองต่อเหตุการณ์ที่ไม่คาดคิดได้อย่างทันท่วงที ภายใต้การใช้ทรัพยากรและการจัดเก็บพัสดุคงคลังที่เหมาะสม โดยกระบวนการวิเคราะห์ระบบการผลิตที่ประกอบไปด้วย 3 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ 1.) ข้อมูลนำเข้าสำหรับการวิเคราะห์ ซึ่งจะเน้นไปที่ตัวชี้วัดสมรรถนะของระบบการผลิตสำหรับใช้ในการประเมิน 2.) กระบวนการประเมิน เพื่อตรวจสอบถึงประเด็นปัญหาที่ระบบการผลิตควรต้องปรับปรุง และ 3.) แนวทางการปรับปรุงระบบการผลิต คือผลลัพธ์ที่แนะนำแนวทางในการปรับปรุงในรูปแบบของการปรับองค์ประกอบของระบบการผลิต โดยหลังจากนำกระบวนการวิเคราะห์ระบบการผลิตไปทดสอบใช้จริงกับระบบการผลิตกรณีศึกษา พบว่ากระบวนการนี้เป็นเครื่องมือที่ช่วยให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถวิเคราะห์ถึงต้นเหตุของปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้น ทำให้ทราบถึงแนวทางการปรับปรุงที่เหมาะสม และผลกระทบของการปรับปรุงที่สามารถนำไปใช้ในการปรับปรุงได้จริง อีกทั้งยังสามารถดำเนินการวิเคราะห์ได้อย่างง่ายจากกระบวนการวิเคราะห์ที่เป็นลำดับขั้นตอนและมีตัวชี้วัดที่ชัดเจน
