Using a quantitative correlation research design and a multiple linear regression analysis, I examined the relationship between one dependent variable, Teacher-Student Relationship (TSR) and four predictor variables, Individualism versus Collectivism (IvC), Monochronic versus Polychronic values (MvP), Universalism versus Particularism (UvP), and Activism versus Fatalism (AvF). The current research focused on a group of urban public elementary schoolteachers who volunteered to participate in the National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded interdisciplinary science and engineering partnership (ISEP) project. These teachers were enrolled in the professional development (PD) college courses in physics and engineering design, summer research in university laboratories, and interdisciplinary science inquiry (ISI) pedagogy sessions. The purpose of this qualitative case study was to understand what factors kindergarten through 12th-grade teachers describe as influencing their decisions to remain in independent day schools in Florida. The purpose of this nonexperimental, quantitative study was to discover the pre-employment skills needed by persons with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or intellectual disabilities (ID) to increase their employment readiness and retention. The purposive sample comprised 41 people who have hired, worked with, or trained persons with disabilities (PWD) in various capacities. Participants were also recruited through snowball sampling by purposive participants who provided the link to take the survey. Data were collected using a 22-item questionnaire survey created in Google Docs by the researcher and subject matter experts. This qualitative case study examined best practices in professional learning communities (PLCs) that influence teacher self-efficacy. Participants were primary and intermediate teachers and teacher leaders from a large suburban elementary school in Texas. Participants had to have at least 1 year of teaching and PLC experience. The semistructured teacher and teacher-leader interviews were recorded and transcribed in real time using Otter.ai software. The present study investigated the results of guided notes on the students’ learning achievement, the quality of the students’ notes, and the students’ perceptions of note-taking. Throughout all stages of processing, most juveniles who encounter the justice system demonstrate cognitive-communicative difficulties (CCDs). Empirical evidence reveals that 19-22% of female and 28-38% of male youth offenders, culminating in approximately 50-60% of youth offenders, demonstrate language disorders that require intervention, but most have never received services (Snow et al., 2014; Winstanley et al., 2021). The field of teacher education is dominated by whiteness, perpetuating the influence of white ideologies in designing and implementing teacher education at each phase of the continuum (pre-service teaching, in-service teaching, teacher educators). This study employs a critical autoethnographic approach to examine how my experiences as a Black educator have shaped my social justice pedagogy across the teacher education continuum. It also identifies the supports I received during my journey. The findings reveal persistent racial discrimination throughout all phases of teacher education, as well as struggles with imposter syndrome, self-doubt, racial identity, and fear of the unknown. This dissertation investigates factors influencing undergraduate degree performance in the College of Business at Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. The research employes a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with faculty and students to identify challenges and strategies for enhancing academic outcomes. Key themes identified include the impact of faculty mentorship, curriculum relevance, technological integration, and institutional support on student success. The study examines undergraduate degree performance in the unique context of a historically black college and university (HBCU).
