Institutional responses to generative artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education have largely emphasized detection, surveillance, and academic integrity enforcement. These approaches often assume that students lack the ability to recognize AI-generated content or are predisposed to misuse it. However, emerging classroom observations and generational research suggest that members of Generation Alpha (Gen Alpha) demonstrate intuitive forms of AI literacy grounded in authenticity detection, ethical awareness, and skepticism toward low-effort outputs. Drawing on student discourse, research on authentic assessment, digital citizenship, and self-regulated learning, this conceptual analysis reframes AI pedagogy from a detection problem to a design challenge. Simulation-based activities can be a formative learning approach for teacher preparation programs and enhance teacher readiness. These activities provide preservice teachers with opportunities to build the necessary knowledge and skills related to classroom management in a structured and safe environment. This article assesses the benefits and challenges of incorporating Mursion, a mixed-reality simulation platform, as a tool in undergraduate teacher preparation programs. Through an epistolary critical autoethnography and Latina and Chicana feminist framework, I explore the question of how international graduate students of color can overcome cultural, linguistic, ethnoracial, and social class isolation on predominantly white campuses and in college towns. Purpose: This study examined the relationship between basic clinical skills and clinical experience among novice rehabilitation therapists in Japan. Methods: Twenty-one novice rehabilitation therapists who joined a general hospital and underwent annual practical examinations during each of their three years of clinical experience were included. This retrospective longitudinal single-center study followed the same novice therapists throughout the study period. My autoethnographic study emerged in the wake of the Hamas–Israel war that began on October 7, 2023, placing me in a dual position as both an academic leader and a member of a society in crisis. As Dean of a multicultural Faculty of Education, I reflect on how the war disrupted longstanding efforts to promote shared society education between Jews and Arabs. Here future elementary and middle school teachers reflect on their experiences with science teachers encountered throughout their education and highlight their characteristics. The aim of the study was to create a program where teachers were given the explicit opportunity to reflect on their experiences through journaling that promoted reflective thought. Participants were 173 non-science and 120 science major prospective teachers enrolled in a small university in northeastern Turkey. Data were collected using document analysis. This session explores an innovative, evidence-based approach to integrating entrepreneurial thinking into undergraduate neuroscience education through hands-on gene editing experiences. Using the commercially available Bio-Rad CRISPR/Cas9-based “Out of the Blue” kit for bacterial LacZ gene editing, students are guided not only through the scientific principles underlying modern gene editing technologies but also through the entrepreneurial challenge of replicating and manufacturing the kit using existing lab resources. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), into educational practices has become increasingly relevant, influencing pre-service teachers' preparedness and engagement. This study examines the readiness and concerns of pre-service teachers in adopting AI-LLMs for teaching, filling a gap in literature on AI's role in teacher education. Using a cross-tabulation analysis of survey data from 685 respondents across different educational majors and academic levels, the study highlights variations in AI adoption, familiarity, and ethical considerations.
