Social Studies (IPS) lessons explore various aspects of life, including education. The purpose of learning IPS is to enhance students' capacity so that they possess good character in school, family, society, and the nation. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research approach. To collect data in this research, the researcher used field observations, interviews with informants, and document analysis. The research results indicate that teachers utilize various programs to assist in the development of students' character. Collaboration between teachers and parents is one example.

The SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) model science with environmental, technological and societal issues to enhance critical thinking, motivation, and concept application. This study examines its role in character formation and motivation towards achieving SDGs in SMP Negeri 2 Negara. Using a qualitative FAQ technique, it found 5 of 6 teachers actively use the SETS model, while one applies its principles unknowingly. This study highlight SETS’s potential in fostering global issue- based learning, environmental awareness, and social responsibility, encouraging broader adoption in education to advance SDGs achievement.

Students' creative thinking can be improved through engaging teaching materials. PBL-based e-modules, which are interactive and student-centered, can address this need. However, teachers at Giovanni Kupang Catholic High School lack such resources. This study developed a PBL-based biology e-module using the Lee and Owens model to enhance creative thinking in Class XI students. Implemented in the 2022/2023 semester, the e-module showed significant improvement (N-gain score of 0.70) with the strongest impact on divergent thinking (0.82). These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of PBL-based e-modules in fostering creative thinking skills in biology education.

Using the commercially available Bio-Rad CRISPR/Cas9-based “Out of the Blue” kit for bacterial LacZ gene editing, students are guided not only through the scientific principles underlying modern gene editing technologies but also through the entrepreneurial challenge of replicating and manufacturing the kit using existing lab resources. The study focuses on two objectives: the first objective is to describe the plant folk taxonomy in Chasu and the second objective is to determine the relationship between noun classes and plant folk taxonomy in Chasu. Developmental mathematics (DM) students often encounter systemic and contextual obstacles in higher education. Low self-efficacy, math anxiety, multiple external demands, and pervasive gaps in prerequisite knowledge can all undermine the strategic behaviors needed to manage the academic environment independently. This qualitative single case study with embedded units explored how school mentors build selfefficacy in novice teachers across elementary, middle, and high school settings within a single public school district in Texas. Grounded in Bandura’s self-efficacy theory, which identifies four sources of self-efficacy: mastery experiences, vicarious experiences, verbal persuasion, and emotional and physiological states, this study examined the specific strategies mentors use to build self-efficacy and foster confidence and instructional competence in novice teachers. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of perceived principal leadership styles and school type on elementary teachers’ self-efficacy. The study examined two research questions. The first examined differences between teachers’ self-efficacy in Title 1 and non-Title 1 schools, and the second examined differences in teacher self-efficacy and perceived principal leadership styles (authoritarian, democratic, and laissez-faire).
