The purpose of this quantitative study using a predictive, correlational design was to investigate the relationship between two unrelated predictor variables (levels of hearing and course format) and one criterion variable (course satisfaction scores). The study included 239 undergraduate students enrolled in HED 101 at an HBCU institution in Alabama. Hearing loss is an invisible disorder that impacts social, emotional, and educational aspects. This study was critical to determine whether course modality and hearing loss can influence students’ course satisfaction. This causal-comparative quantitative research study aims to determine whether mandating a 50% minimum grade significantly increases student achievement. The setting for this study was one suburban Pennsylvanian high school of approximately 1,250 students. The educational process involves three integrated components: curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Evaluating methods in which schools assign grades is an inherent part of every school assessment system. The Treedale School District and Pennsylvania Department of Education collected data, which the researcher analyzed by performing multiple Mann-Whitney U tests between pre-policy 0%-100% and post policy 50%-100% grade scale groups. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of simulation-assisted teaching materials in increasing conceptual understanding of prospective physics teacher students about mechanical waves. Research method is a one-group pretest-posttest design with subjects consisted of 25 physics education undergraduate students at Universitas Negeri Malang. Research instrument is a conceptual understanding test item of mechanical waves. Teaching materials for daily communication purposes are needed by BIPA students at the beginner level so they can establish social contact and communicate with native speakers. The development model in this study is the 4D development model. Daily communication material focuses on the use of formal and informal language as a tool for verbal communication. Based on the validation test that has been carried out for the total results of BIPA material expert validation of 67.5%. Practitioners 67.1%, and 79.1% graphic experts. Therefore, this teaching material is quite feasible to use.

This study employs a multiple case study method and aims to investigate, discover, and describe the suburban area English teachers teaching methods during the distance learning, challenges which are faced by the teachers, how the teachers solve those challenges, and the teachers’ perceptions towards the implementation of distance learning. The findings revealed that the teachers use direct teaching and more focused on utilizing the technology. Some of those challenges are mainly caused by the students ‘conditions. In order to obtain more genuine and valid results, a future study with better research instruments need to be conducted.

The COVID-19 pandemic and policy responses designed to mitigate transmission have caused deep and persistent mathematics learning loss among K–12 students. While initial data might have been read optimistically as a blip that would reverse once schools returned to normal, 2023 data from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) show that losses persist. While the NAEP does not directly measure quantitative reasoning (QR), the data present a disturbing picture for QR instruction and call for new lines of research that inform QR pedagogical response.

The Bard Prison Initiative (BPI) currently operates full-tuition scholarship Bard College degree programs across seven New York State prisons, three Microcollege campuses created in partnership with community-based institutions, and on the Annandale campus of Bard College, where adult students are completing degrees through the BardBac.
