การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยาย มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการจำเป็นของการพัฒนาการบริหารวิชาการของโรงเรียนในสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดกาญจนบุรีตามแนวคิดสมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคม 2) เพื่อศึกษาระดับสมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคมของผู้เรียนโรงเรียนในสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี 3) เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาการบริหารวิชาการของโรงเรียนในสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดกาญจนบุรีตามแนวคิดสมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคม ผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา จำนวน 4 คน ครู จำนวน 70 คน และนักเรียน จำนวน 380 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามเรื่องสภาพปัจจุบันและสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการบริหารวิชาการของโรงเรียนในสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดกาญจนบุรีตามแนวคิดสมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคม แบบสอบถามระดับสมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคมของนักเรียน และแบบประเมินความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของร่างแนวทางการพัฒนาการบริหารวิชาการของโรงเรียนในสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดกาญจนบุรีตามแนวคิดสมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคม โดยสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ประกอบด้วย ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าดังชีความต้องการจำเป็น ฐานนิยม และการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) การพัฒนาการบริหารวิชาการที่มีความต้องการจำเป็นสูงสุด คือ การจัการเรียนรู้ (PNI [modified] = 0.301) ด้านความคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ รองลงมา คือ การพัฒนาหลักสูตร (PNI [modified] = 0.287) ด้านความคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ และการวัดและประเมินผล (PNI [modified] = 0.282) ด้านความคิดสร้างสรรค์ตามลำดับ 2) ระดับสมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคมของนักเรียนในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (X = 3.390) โดยด้านความคิดสร้างสรรค์มีระดับค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำที่สุด 3) แนวทางการพัฒนาการบริหารวิชาการของโรงเรียนในสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดกาญจนบุรีตามแนวคิดสมรรนะนวัตกรสังคม มีดังนี้ แนวทางที่ 1 ขับเคลื่อนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ที่มุ่งเน้นพัฒนาผู้เรียนให้มีสมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคมในด้านทักษะการคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณและความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ประกอบด้วย 2 แนวทางย่อย แนวทางที่ 2 พัฒนาหลักสูตรสถานศึกษาที่เน้นผลลัพธ์การเรียนรู้สมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคมของผู้เรียนในด้านความคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณและความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ประกอบด้วย 2 แนวทางย่อย แนวทางที่ 3 พัฒนาระบบการวัดและประเมินผลที่เน้นผลลัพธ์การเรียนรู้สมรรถนะนวัตกรสังคมของผู้เรียนในด้านความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ความคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ และทักษะด้านการสื่อสาร ประกอบด้วย 2 แนวทางย่อย

Within the field of occupational therapy, the issue of transitioning from an entry-level master's degree to an entry-level doctorate degree is under debate. As such, it is important to investigate the impact of the transition in order to help make educated decisions about the potential future of the profession.This study analyzed retrospective data collected from six cohorts at one Midwestern university to analyze the impact of the transition to an entry-level doctorate on diversity, admission and matriculation rates, and fieldwork reservations. No statistical difference in diversity between masters and doctorate level cohorts was found but it is of note that …

Assessment, academic success, and retention are at the forefront of higher education. When budgets and programs are systematically reduced, higher education institutions can face these challenges by applying process optimization techniques. In times of crisis, cross-functional teams employing these techniques create direct change in higher education environments. This article provides college and university presidents, provosts, deans, and other senior leadership with a foundation on process optimization methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma and Agile. It also also provides a primer for department and unit heads on the application of specific tools and techniques.

The purpose of the study was to analyze faculty stress with three interrelated parts. First, the study examined the relationship between work engagement, stress factors, stress outcomes, and faculty characteristics. Next, the study analyzed the relationship between students' perception of faculty stress, faculty teaching effectiveness, class size, and student classification. Finally, the study investigated faculty preferences for health and wellness programs in the workplace. The study used two anonymous online questionnaires to collect data from 45 faculty participants and 119 student participants from a U.S. public, four-year research university. Negative mathematics perceptions may affect how teachers teach the subject, how much time they spend on the subject, and how well they teach it. The problem that grounded this study was that although anecdotal evidence showed that teachers’ experience with professional development (PD) courses in mathematics teaching improved their perceptions of mathematics, there was a lack of data regarding how PD affects changes in teachers’ perceptions. Early childhood (EC) teacher education programs and public-school partnerships have broadened preparation of preservice teachers by providing more learning opportunities during preservice field experiences. These experiences require mentoring from highly qualified supervising teachers. The purpose of this basic qualitative study was to explore mentors’ perspectives of their qualifications to mentor EC preservice teachers in a 4-year university laboratory school. Ambrosetti’s theory of mentor preparation guided this study. The research question addressed mentor teachers’ perspectives of their mentoring qualifications for EC preservice teachers. This study explores building level administrators’ thoughts on the role grit plays in a school’s culture and how building level administrators can foster a culture of grit. Duckworth’s (2016) text Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance was used as a basis for this study. This is a qualitative study using the grounded theory research method. This inquiry-based research method afforded the researcher the immediate opportunity to explore relationships among the data collected from the participant interviews. For many contemporary evangelical Christians, the concept of consent tends to evoke marked squeamishness. Popular essays have construed consent as a mark of a dangerous, God-forsaking world or of a modernity that can only form shallowly contractual, liability-avoiding relationships (Franks, 2017; Harrison Warren, 2017). But revelations of abuse and assault by high-profile perpetrators in contexts as varied as sports, entertainment, education, and, yes, churches, should prompt renewed deliberation. College is a demanding time in a student’s life that often requires a willingness to seek help in times of significant distress. The factors that influence this decision are numerous and complex. This study examined the relationship between willingness to seek mental health treatment, gender, and level of religiosity and spirituality in students enrolled in a single faith-based institution. Results suggest that female students were more willing to seek help from a mental health professional than males, and students who endorsed high levels of religiosity and spirituality were more inclined to seek help from a religiously affiliated advisor than those …

This study is a narrative inquiry about the participant’s experiences, in three individual case studies, involving teachers of high school mathematics engaged in the creation of a project-based learning curriculum, in a one-to-one laptop school. The researcher analyzed data from field notes, digital artifacts, and teacher interviews to document how math teachers are creating curriculum in an inquiry-driven, project-based, technology-infused instructional model. Findings from restorying and the analysis of three-dimensional space —regarding teacher lore —reveal themes about math teacher curriculum conflicts in skill-building, application of iterative design thinking, and structures inherent to project-based learning.
