Dickey-Lincoln School Lakes Project
The Dickey-Lincoln Hydroelectric Dam is a water resources project proposed by the Federal Government (U. S. Army Corps of Engineers). Therefore, in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, the Corps of Engineers is required to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) on the project. A federal plan or project such as Dickey-Lincoln should take into account its effect upon man's health, safety, welfare and economic well-being, as well as effects upon the surrounding environment. More importantly, project plans should be evaluated in a "manner calculated to encourage harmony between man and his environment." In other words, project plans or …

Walden Dissertations and Doctoral Studies
The purpose of this dissertation was to develop a learning instrument, to be used by programmers preparing for the Data Processing Management Association Test as a self study book, or by college business programming and computer science students who have completed a course in data processing and a course in programming a higher level language. The mathematical ability requirement was minimized by developing the algorithms in parallel with the programs. The learner should experience _emphasis in the following .areas:

Graduate Student Research Papers
I feel the video tape recorder will have a very definite place in the schools. It will be one of our audiovisual aids, just as television, the 16mm. projector and others. It is a tool with unlimited possibilities and a great deal of flexibility. It is a device that can and will be used by teachers at all levels of teaching. It is not an instrument to take the place of the teacher, but, like all audiovisual equipment, is a tool to help the teacher do a more effective job.
