The research aims to reveal the levels of the teacher's role in developing the values of citizenship among students of grades (11-12) in government schools in the Governorate of Dhofar and ways to enhance it from the point of view of its principals. This study aimed to know the degree of inclusion of soft skills in the Islamic education book for the third intermediate graders in Saudi Arabia. A descriptive analytical approach was used. The results of the study showed that the skills of “problem solving and decision-making” and “critical and creative thinking” ranked first, and “cooperation and teamwork” skills ranked last in the book. The domain of "problem solving and decision-making" ranked first in the first part, while the domain of "critical and creative thinking" came first in the second part.
