Mastitis remains one of the major disease in dairy herds, causing profound economic losses to the entire milk production chain due to changes in the milk quality and milk yield. A one year cross-sectional longitudinal survey was carried out to evaluate milk yield losses associated with occurrence of clinical mastitis cases in one dairy herd. Cows that had clinical mastitis and clinically healthy cows during lactation were included in the study. The purpose of this paper is to test whether the Albanian exchange rate market is weak form efficient by studying the statistical behavior of daily Euro and USD exchange rate against Albanian Lekё, which are the most influential currency in Albania market, during the period January 05, 2010 – April 30, 2015. The study seeks to examine whether this currencies follow each a martingale. The unit root tests (individually and panel) and variation ratio test are used. The various analytical tests implemented in the study provide evidence of non-martingale property of exchange market in Albania.

JOHNSON CITY (Nov. 7, 2018) – ETSU’s Lactation Suite has reopened in room 481 of the Sherrod Library, offering a private and comfortable place for mothers on campus to breastfeed or pump.

Previously located in the D.P. Culp University Center, currently closed for renovation, the Lactation Suite features a comfortable chair with a footstool, blanket, television, soft lamp lighting, electrical outlets and other amenities.

It is available to student, faculty and staff mothers by ID card access on a first come, first served basis.  An “in use” sign is on the door to indicate whether the room is occupied.

Many studies of interorganizational relationships assume that trust between organizations is symmetric. In this essay, we explore the origins of this assumption and examine relevant quantitative and qualitative evidence from the literatures on strategy, marketing, supply chain management, and information systems. We conclude that no systematic evidence currently exists to support the assumption that interorganizational trust is typically symmetric. We explore how the possibility of asymmetry complicates interpretation of previous research on the effects of interorganizational trust. We encourage further research to identify conditions under which symmetry is likely, and offer a variety of strategies that scholars may use to …

Recruiting Sales Students: The Value Of Professionals In The Classroom, Blake Nielson, Shannon Cummins

It can be difficult for employers to recruit sales students because of the supply/demand gap. This is true despite increases in university sales education programs. This study investigates the impact of a sales organization representative giving an in-class presentation about student intent to pursue employment at the organization. The results indicate that a quality in-class presentation can improve students’ desire to work for the organization, but an average in-class presentation or shorter extracurricular presentation had no positive effect. These results imply that an in-class presentation should be taken seriously and done well in order to positively impact the recruitment process.
