In the aftermath of the Great Recession of 2007-2009, banking executives feared the impact of increased capital reserve requirements for losses from mortgage defaults. One reason was that home price declines during the Great Recession precipitated mortgage defaults, which increased the percentage of foreclosures as well as accelerated negative equity, and default. This paper aims to shed light on the complexities and difficulties in predicting the effects of trust and the experience of online auction participants on bid levels in online auctions. To provide some insights into learning by bidders, a field study was conducted first to examine auction and bidder characteristics from eBay auctions of rare coins. We proposed that such learning is partly because of institutional-based trust. The factors obtained from interviewing experts in the fashion area found that cloth items, apparel colors, skin colors, and body shape are the main factors effecting the selection of fashion styling via an e-commerce platform. นวัตกรรมแอปพลิเคชันมือถือสำหรับการประเมินรูปแบบตัวชี้วัดการท่องเที่ยวสร้างสรรค์อย่างยั่งยืน เป็นเครื่องมือที่นำแนวคิดการท่องเที่ยวสร้างสรรค์ที่มุ่งเน้นการสร้างความได้เปรียบในการสร้างคุณค่าของการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืนบนพื้นฐานแห่งความเป็นไทย วิถีชีวิต ภูมิปัญญา ศิลปวัฒนธรรม และประวัติศาสตร์ เป็นต้นทุนการท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญของประเทศไทยที่ควรอนุรักษ์ไว้ไปพร้อมกับการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวไทยตามเกณฑ์การพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืนโลก การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้คือ 1) ศึกษาองค์ประกอบ ตัวชี้วัด และเกณฑ์การประเมินศักยภาพการท่องเที่ยวสร้างสรรค์อย่างยั่งยืน 2) ศึกษารูปแบบยืนยันโครงสร้างองค์ประกอบ และตัวชี้วัดในการประเมินศักยภาพการท่องเที่ยวสร้างสรรค์อย่างยั่งยืน 3) พัฒนาระบบนวัตกรรมเทคโนโลยี การประเมินศักยภาพการท่องเที่ยวสร้างสรรค์อย่างยั่งยืน 4) ศึกษาการยอมรับนวัตกรรมเครื่องมือการประเมินศักยภาพการท่องเที่ยวสร้างสรรค์อย่างยั่งยืนและแนวทางการพัฒนาสู่เชิงพาณิชย์ ระเบียบวิธีการวิจัยเป็นแบบผสมผสาน การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพใช้การทบทวนวรรณกรรม การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก 13 กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ถอดเทปสัมภาษณ์ วิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและจัดกลุ่มข้อมูล ส่วนการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณเป็นการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยันจาก 253 กลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง ผลการศึกษาพบว่าโมเดลตัวชี้วัดการท่องเที่ยวสร้างสรรค์อย่างยั่งยืน ประกอบด้วย 8 องค์ประกอบ 36 ตัวชี้วัด ค่าน้ำหนักของทุกองค์ประกอบอยู่ในระดับดี กล่าวคือ ด้านพื้นที่ 0.824 ด้านกระบวนการ 0.843 ด้านกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวสร้างสรรค์ 0.810 ด้านการบริหารจัดการ 1.00 ด้านการจัดการความรู้ 0.937 ด้านเศรษฐกิจ 0.881 ด้านสังคม 0.854 และด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม 0.753 จากนั้นจึงออกแบบและพัฒนาเครื่องมือในรูปแบบของโมไบล์แอปพลิเคชัน นำไปใช้กับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 30 กลุ่ม พบว่าความพร้อมและการยอมรับนวัตกรรมอยู่ในเกณฑ์ระดับพอใจมาก นวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีที่พัฒนาเป็นแบบเรียลไทม์ ลดการใช้กระดาษ ลดการสูญหายของข้อมูล และการพัฒนาสู่เชิงพาณิชย์ได้รับการตอบรับจากองค์การบริหารการพัฒนาพื้นที่พิเศษเพื่อการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน

This thesis investigates the impact on foreign investment activities of the equity market liberalization introduced in response to the 1997 crisis, which primarily involves the relaxation of the foreign ownership restrictions as well as improvements in corporate governance practices. These regulatory changes, which occurred in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand, should have resulted in a lower amount of frictions in the capital market. การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาบทบาทของภาคส่วนต่างๆทั้งในกระบวนการสร้าง นวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100และการทำให้เกิดการแพร่กระจายของนวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100 ในชุมชนเนินฆ้อ 2) เพื่อเสนอแนะแนวทางในการสร้างการยอมรับนวัตกรรมสังคมในชุมชน โดยการวิจัยครั้งนี้จะใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยในเชิงคุณภาพโดยใช้การสนทนากลุ่มย่อยกับผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องในการสร้างนวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100 และผู้ที่ไม่มีส่วนร่วมในนวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100 ผลการศึกษาพบว่าในกระบวนการสร้างนวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100 บริษัทเอสซีจี เคมิคอลส์ เป็นผู้มีบทบาทหลักในการจุดประกายเพื่อให้มีการจัดสร้างบ้านปลาในรูปแบบใหม่เพื่อให้การแก้ไขปัญหาเป็นไปอย่างยั่งยืน โดยบทบาทของชุมชนเนินฆ้อจะเข้ามาร่วมเสนอความคิดเห็นและเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการจัดสร้างนวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100 นอกจากนี้สำนักบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรทะเลและชายฝั่งที่ 1 ยังได้เข้ามามีบทบาทในการกำหนดจุดวางบ้านปลาที่เหมาะสมต่อการเจริญเติบโตของสัตว์น้ำขนาดเล็ก โดยพบว่าสาเหตุที่ทำให้ชาวบ้านในชุมชนเกิดการยอมรับในนวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100 มาจากการสร้างนวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100 เป็นการแก้ปัญหาที่เป็นไปตามความต้องการของชุมชน มีการเปิดโอกาสให้ชุมชนได้เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการแก้ปัญหา และยังสามารถแก้ไขจุดอ่อนของบ้านปลาในรูปแบบเก่า จนเป็นผลทำให้การแก้ปัญหาการลดลงของสัตว์น้ำในชุมชนประสบผลสำเร็จอย่างยั่งยืน ทำให้เศรษฐกิจของชุมชนกลับมาฟื้นตัว ชาวบ้านในชุมชนมีรายได้มากขึ้นโดยเฉพาะชาวบ้านที่ประกอบอาชีพประมงซึ่งได้ประโยชน์จากการจับสัตว์น้ำได้มากขึ้นโดยสิ่งที่สะท้อนให้เห็นได้ชัดว่าชาวบ้านในชุมชนเกิดการยอมรับในนวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100 เกิดจากจำนวนชาวบ้านที่เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการจัดสร้างนวัตกรรมบ้านปลาจากท่อ PE 100 มีจำนวนเพิ่มขึ้นในทุกปี

การเข้ามาทำงานของแรงงานต่างด้าว 3 สัญชาติ (เมียนมา กัมพูชา และลาว) ในประเทศไทยช่วยส่งผลดีต่อเศรษฐกิจไทย การให้การคุ้มครองโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการประกันสังคมจึงเป็นสิ่งจำเป็น งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการจัดการ การใช้สิทธิประโยชน์ และวิเคราะห์แนวทางการคุ้มครองเรื่องสิทธิประโยชน์ประกันสังคมสำหรับแรงงานต่างด้าว 3 สัญชาติ โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและข้อมูลสถิติจากสำนักงานประกันสังคม ผลการวิจัยพบว่าประกันสังคมไทยได้ให้สิทธิแก่แรงงานต่างด้าว 3 สัญชาติอย่างครอบคลุมทุกด้านตามมาตรฐานขององค์กรแรงงานระหว่างประเทศ (ILO) (ถึงแม้ว่าเงื่อนไขและผลประโยชน์ที่ได้รับจะแตกต่างกันไปในแต่ละกรณี) และถือเป็นการให้ความคุ้มครองครอบคลุมขั้นต่ำในเรื่องของการเจ็บป่วยที่ไม่ได้สืบเนื่องจากการทำงานและการเจ็บป่วยจากการทำงาน อย่างไรก็ดีข้อควรทบทวนเรื่องประกันสังคมไทยสำหรับแรงงานต่างด้าว 3 สัญชาติ คือ บางสิทธิมีเงื่อนไขไม่เหมาะสมสำหรับแรงงาน อันได้แก่ สิทธิชราภาพ ที่ไม่เหมาะกับสภาพของแรงงานที่เข้ามาทำงานในระยะสั้น และสิทธิว่างงานเพราะเป้าหมายในการนำเข้าแรงงานต่างด้าวมาก็เพื่อบรรเทาการขาดแคลนแรงงาน การให้สิทธินี้จึงไม่ตอบสนองเป้าหมายการนำเข้าแรงงาน ทั้งนี้แรงงานต่างด้าวสามารถสะสมและโอนผลประโยชน์อันพึงได้รับเพื่อกลับไปรับสิทธิในประเทศของตนในอนาคตภายใต้ข้อตกลงร่วมระหว่างรัฐบาลเมื่อประเทศต้นทางมีความพร้อม ส่วนสิทธิคลอดบุตรและสงเคราะห์บุตรเป็นสิทธิที่แรงงานใช้สิทธิมากที่สุด รัฐควรพิจารณาว่าจะให้สิทธิเหล่านี้แก่แรงงานต่างด้าวและคู่สมรสอย่างไร รัฐควรระบุเงื่อนไขในการขอใช้สิทธิให้ชัดเจนและรัฐควรคำนึงถึงเรื่องผู้ติดตามด้วยว่าสิทธิดังกล่าวจะทำให้มีผู้ติดตามเข้ามาประเทศไทยมากขึ้นหรือไม่

In-house human capital tax investment is a significant input to a firm’s tax decisions. Yet,due to the lack of data, there is little empirical evidence on how corporate in-house taxdepartments are associated with tax planning and compliance outcomes. Using handcollected data on corporate tax employees in S&P1500 firms over the period 2009-2014, wefind that in-house tax planning investments lead to greater tax avoidance, in-house taxcompliance investments lead to lower tax risk, while general tax investments achieve bothgoals. Using a large sample of monthly advertising data, I examine whether U.S. firms use advertisingstrategically during disclosure periods. I find that firms schedule some advertising to appeararound their SEC 10-K, 10-Q filings and around their earnings announcements, consistent withadvertising being used to increase visibility and attract investor attention during disclosureperiods. This effect is stronger for firms reporting good news, for firms with high individualinvestor ownership, for firms in the retail industry, and for young firms. In addition, firmsincrease their advertising through media with broad target audiences and through business-toconsumer media around their disclosures (i.e. SEC 10-K, 10-Q filings and earningsannouncements). …
