Provides an assessment of characteristics of nonresident spring visitors to Montana during the 2001 spring season. Results from a Resident Attitude Survey conducted in Meagher County, Montana. Residents were surveyed to determine opinions toward tourism development in their community. The results are compared to a sample of statewide attitudes toward tourism and includes current nonresident visitor profiles. The small-office/home-office (SOHO) professionals comprise the fastest growing segment in the labor force today. Typically being a one-person business based at home, SOHO owners mostly rely on office information technology to single handedly run their entire operation. Despite the segment's ostensibly growing dependence and influence on the information technology industry, still very little is known about the dynamics between SOHO and IT products. With the purpose of addressing this void, the SOHO professionals' adoption patterns of multigenerational IT products are ivestigated. In 1998, the Scottish Tourist Board sought to develop a ‘real time’ database covering all tourism products and services throughout Scotland through visitscotland.com. Since then over £3m has been invested in this project with some 15,000 businesses and 17,500 products covering the whole spectrum of tourism business now searchable through the Web. Facts: Appellee 6 (landlord), leased an industrial building to appellee 1 (Jerusalem Candles). The building and its contents were badly damaged by fire. The landlord, who was insured by appellant (Menorah) against fire risks, was compensated by Menorah as per the insurance policy. Menorah sued the tenant and The Phoenix (the tenant’s insurance company – appellee 3), in an action of subrogation. I agree with Prof. Mundell that economic theory does suggest that the best monetary system would involve the use of a single currency. The idea of the existence of money is to facilitate exchange and thus a single unit of account and medium of exchange is preferable over several such units. A single currency also reduces the transaction costs, search costs, computational costs and thus enhances the efficiency of resource use. On this basis, it is safe to deduce that the justification for a system of national currencies freely convertible at fixed exchange rate is self-evident. Empirically, the European Union …

On Friday forty-four year old Thomas Junta was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Costin on July 5, 2000 in the Boston suburb of Reading. This piece of news is nothing extraordinary as similar items can be found in most daily newspapers across the country once or twice a year. What made this case of extraordinary interest across America, put it on Court TV, and attracted extensive coverage on the 24/7 news channels was the particular setting and circumstances of the case.
