Mr. Steven Bonnett, Vice President, Trust Division of Pittsburgh National Bank served as executor of the estate of the late Henry Oliver, Jr. Mr. Bonnett retained Vern Englehorn and Frank Kemp of Denver to appraise the fair market value of two assets owned by Mr. Oliver, the Poodle Ranch and the Four Lazy F Ranch in Teton County, Wyoming. Psychologists have often found it useful to think of an individual's personality as consisting of three parts. Each part is a separate source of thoughts, feelings, and motivations - - and it is useful to view each part as directing an individual's behavior at different times. This psychological perspective, it seems, can be very useful to those who market the modern theme park. Its product - - the assortment of attractions it offers to potential guests - - and the way it is promoted must appeal, in one way or another, to each distinct part of a prospective visitor's personality. …

In November 1980, Harrison Price Company (HPC) completed a revised economic planning analysis for the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition, which finalized attendance projections, physical facilities requirements, and estimates of financial performance. As a supplement to that study, the fair’s organization committee, Louisiana World Exposition, Inc. requested HPC to prepare an economic impact analysis of the event, focusing on certain key sectors of the local economy that would be appreciably stimulated by the staging of a major world exposition. Several commonly used concentration measures are defined and discussed. The Grossack Model of Permanent Industrial Concentration and its three concentration indices are explained. Monte Carlo Techniques are used to generate synthetic data which is then used to compute theoretical values of the Grossack Model Indices. Values of other commonly used concentration indices are computed for comparison purposed. The Grossack Model Indices are then subjected to a variety of statistical tests. The results of these tests are presented and evaluated and a conclusion is drawn.

MCA was interested in developing an evening entertainment complex on 2.5 acres of prime property adjacent to the Universal City tour center and its existing parking facilities.
