The results showed that the various potentials and support from the family, community and school (education) makes Udjo being personally creative. This article examines two blogs written by the spouses of game developers about extreme and exploitative working conditions in the video game industry and the associated reader comments. The wives of these video game developers and members of the game community decry these working conditions and challenge dominant ideologies about making games. Once a side note, sustainability reporting has become an important issue for companies and airlines globally and in the U.S. This exploratory study examined the sustainability reporting practices of U.S. passenger and cargo air carriers with total revenues exceeding $1 billion classified as Group III air carriers by the U.S Department of Transportation. The results showed that 53% of Group III air carriers published sustainability reports. Out of these 53%, all except one referenced the Global Reporting framework in their sustainability reports. Forty percent or 6 out of 15 carriers participated in at least one Carbon Disclosure Project questionnaire. Based …

In this research, the author proposes to study the feasibility of applying ISO shipping containers as alternative construction materials. Using retired shipping containers for dwellings, offices or other construction purposes is an environmentally friendly idea. The "green generation" constitutes a battle against harmful effects of industrial developments. Motivated by the green movement, this research addressed the recycling of shipping containers in the construction market. Cross-selling different types of games could provide an opportunity for casino operators to generate additional time and money spent on gaming from existing patrons. One way to identify the patrons who are likely to cross-play is mining individual players’ gaming data using predictive analytics. Hence, this study aims to predict casino patrons’ propensity to play both slots and table games, also known as cross-gaming, by applying a data-mining algorithm to patrons’ gaming data. The Exhaustive Chi-squared Automatic Interaction Detector (E-CHAID) method was employed to predict cross-gaming propensity. Purpose The purpose of this study was to test a moderated mediation model of the dimensionality of political skill on influence tactic choice and performance ratings. Design/Mythology/Approach Dyadic data were analyzed using a mixed-method approach to account for any leaderlevel effects, as well as bootstrapping methods to account for the modest sample size (n = 116). Findings Social astuteness best predicted positive impression management (IM) over negative IM. Apparent sincerity interacted with positive impression management tactics to predict higher performance ratings, whereas interpersonal influence did not. Implications The findings support that socially astute individuals use more positive influence tactics in …

We study the multi-item capacitated lot sizing problem with setup times. Based on two strong reformulations of the problem, we present a transformed reformulation and valid inequalities that speed up column generation and Lagrange relaxation. We demonstrate computationally how both ideas enhance the performance of our algorithm and show theoretically how they are related to dual space reduction techniques. We compare several solution methods and propose a new efficient hybrid scheme that combines column generation and Lagrange relaxation in a novel way. Computational experiments show that the proposed solution method for finding lower bounds is competitive with textbook approaches and …

المستخلصهدفت هذه الدراسة إلى بيان أثر الخداع التسويقي على القرار الشرائي لزبائن المستشفيات الخاصة في مدينة عمان، ولتحقيق ذلك فقد قاما الباحثان بتصميم استبانة من أجل جمع البيانات الخاصة بالدراسة حيث قاما بتوزيعها على عينة الدراسة ومقدارها (500) مبحوثٍ جميعهم من زبائن المستشفيات الخاصة في مدينة عمان وقد شملت العينة جنسيات مختلفة من الزبائن ولم تقتصر على جنسية دون الأخرى. أظهرت: إن الخداع التسويقي في جميع المجالات يؤثر بشكل كبير على القرار الشرائي بجميع مراحله (ما قبل الشراء، الشراء، ما بعد الشراء) بنسبة بلغت (71.62%). كما تبين من التحليل أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05=α) …

ملخص الدراسةتهتم الدراسة الحالية باستكشاف طبيعة تأثير معوقات تطبيق الإدارة الالكترونية على وظائف إدارة علاقات الزبون، اتخذت الدراسة من موظفي مصرف الرافدين عينة لها، حيث تم توزيع استمارة استبيان بواقع (60) استبانة (50) استبانة صالحة للتحليل و(10) استبانة غير صالحة أي نسبة استجابة تبلغ 83 % وجرى تحليل البيانات باستخدام الأساليب الإحصائية الملائمة (الأوساط الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية والارتباط والانحدار). وبعد تحليل النتائج، أتضح وجود علاقة ارتباط وأثر بين معوقات تطبيق الإدارة الالكترونية وإدارة علاقات الزبون. وخرجت الدراسة بجملة من الاستنتاجات أهمها المحاولات جادة من قبل المصرف لتطبيق الإدارة الالكترونية لتسهيل إجراءات العمل الإداري وتقليل الوقت والجهد والسرعة في انجاز العمل. …
