Supply chain costing presents a sophisticated alternative to traditional costing allowing an accurate cost estimation and effective decision making. In exploring different techniques, TDABC was not explored extensively compared to its peers. In addition to the infancy of the technique, there is an on-going debate about the capability of the TDABC specifically in manufacturing context. The present study contributes to the debate by applying TDABC at the logistics function of a manufacturing site and assesses it capability to measure performance in the stated context.

This research measured the benefits and improvements Gemba Walks had on the availability of equipment. For example, reducing the number of events that equipment is down for maintenance and its duration to repair these events, therefore improved availability. Predicting Pro-Environmental Values And Behaviors With The Supernumerary Personality Inventory And Hope, Bonnie Simpson, Meghan Maguire, Julie Aitken Schermer

This research examinesthe role ofpersonality traits beyond the Five-Factor Model (FFM) frameworkin predicting pro-environmental values and behaviors. A sample of 410participants completed personality scalesand reported both their environmental values and the extent to which they had engaged in a series of pro-environmental behaviors in the preceding 24 hours. Small positive correlations were found between environmental values and behaviors with integrityand femininityand negative correlations with religiosity. Overall, the results show limited evidence supporting the personality dimensions measured in predicting pro-environmentalvalues and behaviors.Implications of the findings are discussed.

At the United States Supreme Court, what is old is new again. In a series of recent opinions,1 the justices have repeatedly offered differing views on how stare decisis should be positioned when tasked with justifying or rejecting existing precedent. Indeed, in three recent Supreme Court decisions the justices have wrestled with the effect of stare decisis on future decisions. Reversing a decision, according to Justice Kagan, “demand[s] a ‘special justification.’” In contrast, Justice Thomas posited that “[w]hen faced with demonstrably erroneous precedent, my rule is simple: We should not follow it.” Chief Justice Roberts, in explaining his switch in …

Kolb’s experiential learning theory emphasizes that experiential learning requires a hospitable learning space (HLS) that is conducive to learning. هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف معيقات نجاح مشروع الحكومة الإلكترونية، من وجهة نظر الجهات الإدارية بالقطاع الحكومي، وأثرها على جودة الخدمات الإلكترونية، والتي أُجريت على كلٍ من وزارة الداخلية ووزارة الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات بقطاع غزة، باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الذي يعتمد على دراسة الظاهرة كما توجد في الواقع، بحجم عينة (123) استبانة لوزارة الداخلية، و(50) استبانة لوزارة الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أبرزها أن المعيقات الإدارية تعتبر أكثر المعيقات المؤثرة سلباً على نجاح مشروع الحكومة الإلكترونية وتحقيق جودة الخدمات الإلكترونية، كما بينت نتائج الدراسة أن هناك ضعفاً في البنية التحتية التكنولوجية وندرة الكفاءات البشرية المؤهلة …

يهدف البحث الى دراسة المخاطر المصرفية والسيولة المطلوبة من المصرف توفيرها واثر كل من المخاطر والسيولة على قيمة المصرف, ومن هنا ظهرت مشكلة البحث التي تشير الى مدى تأثير المخاطر والسيولة على قيمة المصرف. ولتحقيق أهداف وفرضيات البحث تمت دراسة المؤشرات الرياضية وتحليلها وايجاد العلاقة والتأثير وفق اساليب احصائية, حيث أستخدم البحث الاسلوب الاحصائي (SPSS), والمقاييس الكمية والتي تضمنت مؤشرات السيولة السريعة لقياس السيولة ومؤشر العائد على الودائع لقياس الربحية ومؤشر قياس قيمة المصرف Tobin’s Q . تم اختيار عينة متكونة من أربعة مصارف اهلية (مصرف الشرق الاوسط, مصرف الخليج , مصرف الاهلي ومصرف بغداد) وللفترة من 2016 لغاية 2019. …
