يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تأثير القدرة الإدارية على جودة التقارير المالية لعينة من المصارف المدرجة في سوق العراق للأوراق المالية خلال الفترة (2016-2023). تعد القدرة الإدارية عاملاً رئيسيًا في تعزيز جودة التقارير المالية، حيث تؤثر على عملية إعداد المعلومات المالية بدقة وشفافية.

Employing a firm-level panel dataset from Statistik Industri for 2008-2015, this study investigates the effect of incoming Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on inefficiency traps in Indonesia. Firms often face transient and persistent inefficiencies in production and resource utilization, impeding optimal efficiency and productivity. Stochastic Frontier Analysis and Tobit estimates quantify the positive impact of FDI spillovers on inefficiency traps, with FDI spillovers reducing both inefficiencies, particularly transient inefficiencies. Foreign investment externalities diminish inefficiencies through spatial and sectoral spillovers, with spatial spillovers exerting a larger influence. Improved human capital and increased access to foreign inputs also contribute to the mitigation of …

Supply chain networks are essential for the delivery of goods and information, but disruptions such as natural disasters or trade embargoes can severely impact them. Resilience of entire networks under different types of disruptions when nodes or edges fail has been extensively studied. However, the extent to which the failure of a particular company affects another company of interest within a network has not been widely explored. Materiality In The Csr-Investor Reaction Relationship: A Replication And Extension Of Flammer (2013), Steven D. Kofford, Myles Melancon, Ben W. Lewis

We replicate and extend Flammer’s (2013) event study of investor reaction to environmental corporate social responsibility (CSR). Flammer found that investors reacted positively to eco-friendly events and negatively to eco-harmful events from 1980-2009 and that reaction to positive events decreased while reaction to negative events increased over time. We find similar results for Flamer’s original sample and an expanded sample including the same type of firms (U.S.-listed public firms) from 1980-2019. We then extend Flammer’s results by examining how materiality affects investor reaction over time. We find that investors only react to material events and that positive reaction to material …

Change is an inevitable and defining force in organizations. While structured change management frameworks provide critical guidance, they often overlook the human dimensions of change. We investigate mentoring and argue that it should not merely support change initiatives but serve as a strategic driver of successful transformations, serving as a multidimensional driver of cognitive alignment, emotional support, and behavioral adaptation, and introduce a mentoring framework that addresses these areas while bridging the gap between the procedural and human-centric change elements.

This research examines stakeholder engagement strategies among Indonesian restaurant owners in the United States, focusing on their operational success and business sustainability. Using a qualitative methodology, the study conducted semi-structured interviews with five purposively selected restaurant owners to investigate how they integrate stakeholder interests into business strategies, leverage government support, and adapt engagement practices across different sectors. The findings reveal three key challenges: insufficient frameworks for integrating stakeholder interests with business strategies, inadequate government support mechanisms, and inconsistent stakeholder engagement practices. This position paper begins by briefly examining the nature of ideology from Antoine Destutt de Tracy in 1796 to postmodern and hermeneutic approaches, such as Ricoer. The influence of ideology on individuals, organizations, and society is discussed using the thoughts of Karl Marx, Max Weber, and George Herbert Mead. Ideological Influences on nonprofit organizations and their leadership are then examined for these three areas: 1. inclusion considerations, 2. programming, and 3. collaboration. This study examines the effectiveness of using multimedia, specifically Remember the Titans, to teach Bruce Tuckman’s Group Development stages in undergraduate management education. The research investigates whether integrating film-based pedagogy enhances student comprehension and academic performance compared to traditional lecture methods. Using a quasi-experimental design, data were collected over six semesters from undergraduate business students (N = 459) at a private liberal arts university. The study compared pre- and post-implementation cohorts, employing a structured writing assignment as an assessment tool. What is new?

While Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have, in recent years, placed greater emphasis on promoting good research practices, it is yet relatively unknown what leadership approaches are best suited to cultivating a positive culture of research integrity (RI) in HEIs. This small-scale exploratory descriptive study therefore sought to uncover initial findings from within the European context on practices research leaders found to be most effective in leading positive change in this space.
