Some Classified Catalogues Of The Cottonian Library, Elizabeth Teviotdale
Some Classified Catalogues Of The Cottonian Library, Elizabeth Teviotdale
Elizabeth C Teviotdale
Eight extant subject catalogs of Sir Robert Cotton's (1571-1631) collection were compiled during the latter half of the 17th century. Their classifications indicate the predominance of English histories. The six complete paper codices appear to have been based on another version, perhaps prepared by Sir William Dugdale (1605-86), apparently no longer in existence. The holdings were apparently compiled from both the collection as it stood in the 1660s and an emperor order catalog. Reprinted in Sir Robert Cotton as Collector: Essays on an Early Stuart Courtier and His Legacy (1997).

Unionism And The Political Party Structure Of Northern Ireland, Allan Leonard
Unionism And The Political Party Structure Of Northern Ireland, Allan Leonard
Allan Leonard
This undergraduate independent study examined Unionist political reaction to developments of British Government policy towards Northern Ireland. Namely, Nationalist representatives achieved redress with the British Government, both directly and vis-a-vis the Irish Government, which should have compelled Unionists to pursue a more accommodationalist policy. Regardless, there was a paradoxical drive by integrationists in Northern Ireland for direct electoral candidacy by the Conservative Party in the regional constituency. This paper makes a defence in favour of this campaign, as a means of improving the accountability of British Government policy affecting those in its jurisdiction.

Pioneer Vincentian missionaries in the United States quickly had contacts with Native Americans and reported on these to their European superiors. These contacts ceased when the tribes moved away from Vincentian areas, but they were occasionally renewed in the twentieth century. Two maps help to locate events.
