The maze, operated by Liebscher Farms of Weatherford, stood just north of 1-40 for the summer and fall of 2001. The maze, consisting of 9-foot tall corn stalks, contained 2.5 miles of twists and turns. For most people, the maze took an hour to complete.

I turn to Judith Butler to clarify my term corporate globalization trouble as well as to explain why this trouble should be situated in gendered terms regarding power, visibility, and subjectivity inequities. [1] Butler describes deviant gender identities failing to coincide with the matrix of intelligibility: precisely because certain kinds of 'gender identities' fail to conform to those norms of cultural intelligibility, they appear only as developmental failures or logical impossibilities from within that domain. Their persistence and proliferation, however, provide critical opportunities to expose the limits and regulatory aims of that domain of intelligibility and, …

These poems are grouped as they are in order to reflect a progression, a trail at the end of which my own spirituality is not found, but revealed. A subtitle might be Dilemmas and Destinations, for each poem can also be viewed individually as a struggle or desire to reach this goal. In fact, I label my two sub-sections in precisely these terms. I have organized them not to build upon one another, but to act as "snapshots" that describe my beliefs. My poems begin with family issues and/or characters that have shaped a belief in a multi-faceted God. Several …

Nexus is a magazine that began as an insert in the Wright State Guardian student newspaper in 1965 and has since been published semi-regularly. It began only accepting creative writing, but has since expanded to include illustrations, photography and other non-written art forms. Today, it is published in a digital format and accepts submissions from around the country, though it maintains its commitment to the Wright State Community.

Linda Grace Hoyer was a brilliant individual. She graduated from Ursinus College at the age of nineteen, received a master's from Cornell University, and after many years of diligent work, published two novels and a myriad of short stories. She lived an unusual life: reflective, feminine in her thought processes, but nevertheless somewhat stubborn in a time when women were meant to fill a subordinate role. I have found through my research that Hoyer's brilliance did not lie in her intellect and writing alone. In fact, as demonstrated by her literature's autobiographical nature, her brilliance as a writer seemed to …

Everything Else is Real is a story of escape. It begins in Glendale, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, where Raymond Gutters is in the midst of a crank binge. The first part of the book deals with Los Angeles nightlife through the eyes of the drug. Among others we are introduced to Gerald, a small-time dealer, and Dana, Gerald's estranged junkie girlfriend, who is also having an affair with Raymond.
Raymond tries to kick the habit, but his on-and-off romantic train wreck with Dana keeps him from seeing it through. He tries to substitute his drug vice for a …
