The Yelping is a collection of essays and short stories that focus thematically on the evolution of a relationship from courtship to marriage. The essays explore loneliness and ego and identity and mortality, while the short stories do the same, except under the guise of fiction. Many of the pieces start with a minor misunderstanding or a failure of communication, and the humor and crises that result.

Song of Six Rivers relates one man’s life-changing experiences throughout the Humboldt Bay region of northern California, depicting the area’s geography and history along the way, through both poetry and archival photography. When the muse of this epic poem, Guy Kuttner, died unexpectedly, Zev Levinson heard his voice imploring him to sing of the land they both love. As a roving teacher, Zev had come to know the Six Rivers terrain and communities intimately. Bajo el concepto de interseccionalidad, este trabajo transita entre las fronteras de forma física y emocional.
