Jean-Paul Sartre menyatakan kebebasan sebagai ciri manusia bereksistensi. Kebebasan manusia dicirikan melalui cara mengadanya. Meskipun ada kefaktaan-kefaktaan yang dapat mengurangi penghayatan kebebasannya, Sartre berpendapat bahwa manusia tetap dapat memilih untuk menghayati kebebasannya secara maksimal, tanpa menghiraukan kefaktaan-kefaktaan tersebut. Penyair Na Tae-ju melalui puisi “Pulkkot 1-2-3” mengajak para pembacanya untuk menghayati kebebasannya secara penuh tanpa memperhatikan kefaktaan-kefaktaan yang dihadapinya. Research related to language style and sentence-final ending in the Gyeongsang dialect has received less attention. Therefore, this study focuses on sentence-final ending or jeongyeol eomi in Korean interrogative sentences to fill the research gap. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method. Data is collected from the Korean drama Reply 1997 from the first three episodes. This study examines Ancient Java’s ideal figures based on seven panels of the Arjunawiwaha story from Selomangleng Tulungagung Cave. The discussion focuses on the use of archaeological data, which are reliefs, statues, and the description of ideal figures from Ancient Java Kakawin. The results show that all the figures in the Selomangleng Tulungagung Cave depicted the protagonist figures from Arjunawiwaha without showing the antagonist. The protagonist figures consist of God Indra, Arjuna, Nymphs, Soldiers, and God Shiva disguised as a sage. The protagonist figures displayed the ideal concept of figures related to their role. What factors and guidelines informed the decision-making process in K-12 public schools during the COVID-19 pandemic and who were the key stakeholders? This study examines three school district types – a large city, medium city, and small-town – across Minnesota as case studies to unpack how policy decisions were made during the pandemic. Given that public support for the death penalty in America is at a half-century low (according to the Pew Research Center), the timing could not be more appropriate to examine the death penalty. This research project had a two-step approach: first, ethical theory-based arguments for and against the death penalty were examined. My Theis is a defense of the moral metaethical theory known as moral realism. Moral realism is the idea that moral laws are objective, true, non-natural, and applicable to all moral agents. I reference and subscribe to the form of moral relativism that is proposed by Russ Shafer-Landau in his book Moral Realism. In my thesis I argue that moral realism is the correct view of moral laws, and that relativism, error theory, and noncognitivism are all incorrect views. This paper addresses methodologies espoused by the hermeneutic tradition begun under Martin Heidegger. I argue for the methodologies of Philology, Destruktion and the use of poetic language in order to understand and communicate fundamental truths about Dasein. I demonstrate that these methods provide us, hermeneutically, with a closer and more precise understanding than simple communication in common speech.

This thesis evaluates the function of the current history of mathematics methodologies and explores ways in which historiographical methodologies could be successfully implemented in the field. Traditional approaches to the history of mathematics often lack either an accurate portrayal of the social and cultural influences of the time, or they lack an effective usage of mathematics discussed. This paper applies a holistic methodology in a case study of Kurt Gödel’s influential work in logic during the Interwar period and the parallel rise of intellectual modernism. Sexual abuse in the Christian Church has been a problem for many decades, and scholars have written extensively about sexual abuse occurring in the Catholic Church. However, abuse occurring in the Protestant Church has not been given that same attention. In 2017, the #MeToo movement went viral and has inspired many sexual abuse survivors to share their stories. Pediatric patients must rely on proxy decision-makers, usually a parent or guardian, to make their health care choices for them. There are 3 main frameworks in place for such decision-making. The default is usually that the decision-maker will make the decision that they feel is in the best interest of the child. Limitations on the decision-maker are an aspect often discussed with abuse and neglect at the forefront as thresholds for when limitations and intervention are deemed necessary. According to the “Embodied Cognition” entry in the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, the three landmark texts in the 4E cognitive science tradition are Lakoff and Johnson’s Metaphors We Live By, Varela, Thompson, and Rosch’s The Embodied Mind, and Andy Clark’s Being There. In my first section, I offer a phenomenological interpretation of these three texts, identifying recuring affirmations of the figure of dance alongside explicit marginalization of the practice of dance, perhaps in part due to cognitive science’s overemphasis on cognition to the exclusion of affect.
