System Projector: An Automatic Program Rewriting Tool For Non-Ground Answer Set Programs, Yuliya Lierler

Answer set programming is a popular constraint programming paradigm that has seen wide use across various industry applications. However, logic programs under answer set semantics often require careful design and nontrivial expertise from a programmer to obtain satisfactory solving times. In order to reduce this burden on a software engineer we propose an automated rewriting technique for non-ground logic programs that we implement in a system PROJECTOR. We conduct rigorous experimental analysis, which shows that applying system PROJECTOR to a logic program can improve its performance, even after significant human-performed optimizations. Aortic stenosis is the narrowing of the aortic valve secondary to calcification and fibrosis. It is the most common valve disorder and the second most frequent reason for cardiac surgery. As the elderly population increases, the number of patients presenting with aortic stenosis will increase. RNs and APRNs need to be aware of the pathophysiology and clinical manifestations of aortic stenosis because the disease can progress quickly and be fatal if mismanaged. Patients with aortic stenosis have an increased risk of morbidity and mortality during the peri-operative period during non-cardiac surgery. As land available for agriculture remains limited, it is becoming more necessary to explore methods to improve the efficiency of crop production in order to support Earth’s growing populations. Newly characterized photosynthetic genes could improve our understanding of the way organisms convert light energy into fuel, allowing improvements in plant growth and environmental resistance. Using an insertion mutant library of the unicellular algae, Chlamydomonas reindhartii, that covers 83% of its genome, we are identifying and characterizing the hundreds of genes associated with photosynthesis. Introduction: There is a need for efficacious lifestyle interventions that promote the mental health and emotional wellness of both healthy and clinical cohorts. Evidence regarding the usefulness of adding human support (i.e. guidance) to improve the outcomes of web- and mobile app-based psychological interventions for clinical populations is mixed,1-3 however little is known about healthy cohorts.

Methods: 458 self-selected participants registered to join a 10-week, web- and mobile app-based, multimodal lifestyle intervention.
