Active exoskeletons are increasingly utilized in physically demanding industries such as construction and manufacturing to reduce strain and lower the risk of work-related musculoskeletal disorders, supporting worker safety and long-term health. However, most existing systems are designed for repetitive tasks like lifting or prolonged standing, with limited consideration for dynamic activities such as vertical ladder climbing. Ladder climbing is common and physically demanding in industrial environments, often required to access elevated areas like scaffolding, tanks, or rooftops. The Spiral Array is a geometric model of musical tonality and exists as a tool in computer-aided music analysis. The model was first published in 2000 by Elaine Chew, PhD, in her thesis, Towards a Mathematical Model of Tonality. This project aimed to restructure the Spiral Array, limiting user ambiguity and optimizing the application of musical key finding. The existing model defines pitch, chord, and key location to form a series of spirals dependent on a set of flexible weights. We study a class of binary fractional programs commonly encountered in important application domains such as assortment optimization and facility location. These problems are known to be NP-hard to approximate within any constant factor, and existing solution approaches typically rely on mixed-integer linear programming or second-order cone programming reformulations. These methods often utilize linearization techniques (e.g., big-M or McCormick inequalities), which can result in weak continuous relaxations. In this work, we propose a novel approach based on an exponential cone reformulation combined with piecewise linear approximation. This article discusses the automation of the methanol-acetone mixture absorption process to improve control efficiency. The existing local automatic control system (ACS) was upgraded to a cascade system, reducing component concentration deviations by 12% and decreasing the transition process time from 1606 to 1592 seconds. A mathematical model of the gas absorption process was developed, incorporating material balance equations, mass transfer equations, and transfer functions. The parameters of the PI controller were calculated to ensure system stability under ±10% coefficient variations. This article examines the influence of various factors on the efficiency of optimizing station controllers in automatic control systems. The main focus is on minimizing static errors and improving the reliability of controllers. Optimization methods for PID and PI2D controllers are discussed, including the use of modern approaches such as genetic algorithms. The necessity of compromise solutions to achieve high-quality system responses to various impacts is investigated. The article considers the problem of modeling the ammonia-soda process of soda ash production and presents the chemistry of sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO₃) formation. The equation of the kinetics of the reaction, used as a model of the carbonation process, is derived from a system of equations and its computer model is compiled. This study aimed to investigate the vital role and impact of technical audits in promoting sustainable infrastructure development in Tanzania. The role and effects of technical audits in long-term infrastructure development were studied using a mixed-methods approach with both quantitative and qualitative parts. Data were collected through analysis of technical audit documentation, a semi-structured questionnaire, and stakeholder interviews. The study revealed the various dimensions of infrastructure investment projects, including initiation and planning, design, procurement of contractors and consultants, contract management, environment, health, and safety.
