Diurnal and seasonal variations of direct solar energy circumscribe locations suitable for sole use of concentrated solar power for electricity generation, whereas to generate electricity at night and during winter months, biomass systems can be used that incur fuel expenditures and may encounter fuel supply discontinuities. This research aims to use an application of a data analytic approach to improve the cracking furnace operation since the current process is operated based on past experience without data consideration leading to an inefficient operation. To improve the process, relationships between process input variables to the transfer line exchanger outlet temperature (TLExOT) were studied and the forecasting models for TLExOT were developed as TLExOT is a key parameter which can represent the process conditions. Productivity deficiencies in distribution services are detrimental to profitability, annually causing billions of dollars in reporting losses industry-wide. Understanding employees’ motivating factors in meeting metric-based expectations is essential to enhancing overall performance. Grounded in the motivation-hygiene theory, the purpose of this correlational study was to examine the relationships among employee engagement, job satisfaction, and productivity within the distribution industry. Electronic survey data were analyzed for 47 participants who completed the Mensah Employee Engagement Survey, Mensah Job Satisfaction Survey, and Utrecht Work Employee Engagement Survey. The current slot allocation mechanism in Brazil, based on the International Air Transport Association (IATA) rules, and its supplementary local regulation The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), displays a few issues and limitations (e.g. slot misuse, allocation inefficiencies). งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อติดตามและควบคุมความก้าวหน้าของงานซ่อมในการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานซ่อมบำรุงเครื่องจักรในงานสร้างถนน โดยได้มองแต่ละงานซ่อมเป็นแต่ละโครงการและมีการดำเนินโครงการตามหลักการบริหารโครงการ (Project Management) เครื่องมือสำคัญในการบริหารโครงการเป็นเครื่องมือในการบริหารความก้าวหน้าของโครงการ ได้แก่ วิธีการวิถีวิกฤต (Critical Path Method, CPM) แผนภูมิแกนต์ (Gantt Chart) และ S Curve โดยมีขั้นตอนการดำเนินงานวิจัยดังนี้ 1) รวบรวมอาการเสียและวิเคราะห์หาสาเหตุและกำหนดวิธีการซ่อมและเวลามาตรฐานของการซ่อม 2) วิเคราะห์กิจกรรมของการซ่อมโดยใช้ CPM 3) สร้างแผนภูมิแกนต์เพื่อแสดงแผนงานของแต่ละโครงการซ่อม 4) ควบคุมและติดตามความก้าวหน้าของแต่ละโครงการซ่อมโดยใช้ S-curve 5) หามาตรการหรือแผนเร่งรัดเพื่อให้เป็นไปตามแผนงานของแต่ละโครงการซ่อม งานวิจัยนี้ได้ใช้ระบบฐานข้อมูลเพื่อความสะดวกในการสร้างแผนการซ่อม หลังจากหนึ่งปีของการปรับปรุงพบว่าประสิทธิภาพการบริหารงานซ่อมบำรุงเพิ่มขึ้นโดยระบบหยุดทำงานลดลง เวลาหยุดทำงานของระบบโครงสร้าง (Body System) ลดลงจาก 75 วันเป็น 16 วัน คิดเป็น 78.67% เวลาหยุดทำงานของระบบเครื่องยนต์ (Engine System) ลดลงจาก 122 วันเป็น 54 วัน คิดเป็น 55.74% และเวลาหยุดทำงานของระบบช่วงล่าง (Suspension System) ลดลงจาก 30 วันเป็น 23 วัน คิดเป็น 23.33% เวลาหยุดทำงานของระบบส่งกำลัง (Transmission System) ลดลงจาก 30 วันเป็น 16 วัน คิดเป็น 46.67% เวลาหยุดทำงานของระบบไฮดรอลิก (Hydraulic System) ลดลงจาก 17 วันเป็น 13 วัน เป็น 23.53% เวลาหยุดทำงานของระบบไฟฟ้า (Electrical System) ลดลงจาก 20 วันเป็น 10 วัน เป็น 50% ตามลำดับ

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อปรับปรุงกระบวนการประกอบสายส่งสัญญาณทางแสง ที่ระดับความเร็ว 100Gb/s ซึ่งเป็นเทคโนโลยีการส่งสัญญาณสำหรับดาต้าเซ็นเตอร์ที่เติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยประยุกต์ใช้เครื่องมือปรับปรุงคุณภาพตามแนวทางซิกซ์ ซิกมา หรือ DMAIC ประกอบด้วย (1) ระยะนิยามปัญหา พิจารณาอัตราผลิตผลดีในกระบวนการประกอบระดับออพติคอลเอนจิน พบว่ากระบวนการวัดกำลังแสงขาออกมีสัดส่วนของเสียเฉลี่ยต่ำที่สุด ประมาณ 10.29% ซึ่งเป็นตัวชี้วัดว่ากระบวนการวางเลนส์ด้วยวิธีการแบบแพสซิพ (Passive Alignment technique) ซึ่งเป็นวิธีการวางตำแหน่งเลนส์โดยใช้ภาพเอกลักษณ์และการคำนวณระยะสัมพัทธ์ระหว่างกึ่งกลางของเลนส์ และกึ่งกลางของเลเซอร์ VCSEL ยังมีคุณภาพดีไม่เพียงพอ (2) ระยะการวัด การวิเคราะห์ความพ้องกันของระบบวัดกำลังแสงขาออก โดยใช้ข้อมูลแบบนับ (Attribute gage R&R) แสดงให้เห็นว่าระบบวัดมีความสามารถในการวัดซ้ำ, วัดได้อย่างถูกต้อง, และระบบมีความพ้องกันดี (Kappa > 0.9) โดยค่า Cpk และ Ppk จากการวิเคราะห์ความสามารถของกระบวนการ เป็น 0.923 และ 0.423 ตามลำดับ (3) ระยะวิเคราะห์หาสาเหตุของปัญหาด้วยการทดสอบสมมติฐานสัดส่วนประชากร 2 กลุ่ม พบว่ามี 4 ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อสัดส่วนของเสียได้แก่ อัลกอริทึมการหาอไลน์เมนท์ออฟเซ็ต, แผ่นวงจรรวมที่ผลิตจากแหล่งที่ต่างกัน, ระนาบแกน Z หรือบอนด์ไลน์, และอุณหภูมิการอบกาวให้แห้งหลังวางเลนส์ (4) การดำเนินการปรับปรุง และ (5) การติดตามผล ซึ่งหลังการปรับปรุงพบว่าว่าสัดส่วนของเสียลดลงจาก 10.29% เหลือ 1.98% หรือลดลง 80% กระบวนการมี Cpk และ Ppk ดีขึ้นเป็น 1.187 และ 0.687 ตามลำดับ
