วิทยานิพนธ์นี้ศึกษาพฤติกรรมของเสาท่อเหล็กเติมด้วยคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กรูปพรรณรับแรงกระทำเยื้องศูนย์ รูปแบบการทดสอบประกอบด้วย เสารับแรงกระทำตรงศูนย์ เสารับแรงกระทำเยื้องศูนย์ และคานรับแรงดัด หน้าตัดท่อสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัสขนาด 150x150 มิลลิเมตร เติมด้วยคอนกรีตที่มีกำลังรับแรงอัดประลัยเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 22.5 เมกะปาสคาล ที่เสริมด้วยเหล็กรูปพรรณรูปตัวเอช (H) ขนาด 100x9.30 กิโลกรัมต่อเมตร เสามีความสูง 450 มิลลิเมตร และคานมีความยาว 1500 มิลลิเมตร ตัวแปรทดสอบที่ศึกษาได้แก่ ระยะเยื้องศูนย์ (0, 15 และ 30 มิลลิเมตร) และการติดตั้งหรือไม่ติดตั้งสลักรับแรงเฉือน จากการทดสอบพบว่า (1) เสาจะมีกำลังรับแรงอัดมากที่สุดเมื่อแรงกระทำตรงศูนย์ โดยกำลังรับแรงอัดจะลดลงเมื่อแรงกระทำห่างจากจุดศูนย์ถ่วงของหน้าตัดมากขึ้น (2) การติดตั้งสลักรับแรงเฉือนช่วยเพิ่มกำลังรับแรงอัด ให้สาท่อเหล็กเติมด้วยคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กรูปพรรณ และช่วยเพิ่มความต้านทานการโก่งเดาะเฉพาะที่ของตัวอย่างที่รับแรงกระทำเยื้องศูนย์ (3) เสาท่อเหล็กเติมด้วยคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กรูปพรรณมีกำลังรับแรงอัดมากกว่าผลรวมของกำลังรับแรงอัดจากท่อเหล็ก เหล็กรูปพรรณ และคอนกรีต ที่มีขนาดและวัสดุเดียวกัน และมากกว่าผลรวมของกำลังรับแรงอัดจากเสาท่อเหล็กเติมด้วยคอนกรีตและเหล็กรูปพรรณ เนื่องจากพฤติกรรมเชิงประกอบของวัสดุ และคอนกรีตถูกโอบรัดโดยเสาท่อเหล็กและท่อเหล็ก ศึกษาสมการเส้นโค้งปฏิสัมพันธ์กำลังรับแรงอัดและแรงดัดจากข้อกำหนด AISC360-16และมาตรฐาน Eurocode4 พบว่าการประยุกต์ใช้สูตรการคำนวณจากข้อกำหนด AISC 360-16 และมาตรฐาน Eurocode4 ใกล้เคียงกับผลการทดสอบ โดยทำนายค่ากำลังรับแรงกระทำตรงศูนย์ไว้สูงกว่าผลการทดสอบ แต่ทำนายค่ากำลังรับแรงกระทำเยื้องศูนย์และแรงดัดต่ำกว่าผลการทดสอบ

งานวิจัยนี้นำเสนอการประเมินสมการทำนายกำลังของเสาวัสดุผสมตามข้อกำหนด AISC 360-16 และมาตรฐาน Eurocode 4 โดยได้รวบรวมข้อมูลผลการทดสอบเสาวัสดุผสมจากงานวิจัยในอดีตตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1970 ถึง ปัจจุบัน เพื่อสร้างฐานข้อมูลการทดสอบเสาวัสดุผสม และได้ใช้ข้อมูลผลการทดสอบจำนวน 76 426 และ 347 ตัวอย่าง ในการประเมินความแม่นยำและความปลอดภัยของสมการทำนายกำลังสำหรับเสาเหล็กหุ้มด้วยคอนกรีต เสาท่อเหล็กเติมด้วยคอนกรีตหน้าตัดกลมและหน้าตัดสี่เหลี่ยม ตามลำดับ โดยพบว่า สมการทำนายกำลังตามข้อกำหนด AISC 360-16 สามารถทำนายกำลังของเสาเหล็กหุ้มด้วยคอนกรีตและเสาท่อเหล็กเติมด้วยคอนกรีตภายใต้แรงอัดกระทำตรงศูนย์ได้อย่างปลอดภัย แม้ว่ากำลังของวัสดุที่ใช้จะสูงกว่าขอบเขตกำลังของวัสดุที่ระบุไว้ในข้อกำหนด ในขณะที่ สมการทำนายกำลังตามมาตรฐาน Eurocode 4 ทำนายกำลังสูงกว่าผลการทดสอบบางตัวอย่างสำหรับเสาเหล็กหุ้มด้วยคอนกรีตและเสาท่อเหล็กเติมด้วยคอนกรีตหน้าตัดสี่เหลี่ยมที่ใช้เหล็กรูปพรรณที่มีหน่วยแรงครากสูงกว่าขอบเขตที่ระบุไว้ในมาตรฐาน นอกจากนี้ ฐานข้อมูลการทดสอบได้ถูกใช้ในการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยเชิงสัญลักษณ์เพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบของขนาดเสาต่อหน่วยแรงอัดสูงสุดของเสาท่อเหล็กเติมด้วยคอนกรีตหน้าตัดกลม โดยพบว่า ผลกระทบของขนาดเสาต่อหน่วยแรงอัดสูงสุด ขึ้นอยู่กับขนาดของท่อเหล็ก อัตราส่วนเหล็กรูปพรรณ และกำลังอัดของคอนกรีต งานวิจัยนี้ยังได้นำเสนอแนวทางในการสร้างเส้นโค้งปฏิสัมพันธ์กำลังของเสาวัสดุผสมในรูปแบบไร้หน่วยจากผลการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยเชิงสัญลักษณ์สำหรับช่วยในการวิเคราะห์และออกแบบเสาท่อเหล็กเติมด้วยคอนกรีตหน้าตัดกลม โดยมีลักษณะเช่นเดียวกับเส้นโค้งปฏิสัมพันธ์รูปแบบไร้หน่วยสำหรับเสาคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กภายใต้แรงในแนวแกนและแรงดัดกระทำร่วมกัน

This dissertation presents poroelastodynamic fundamental solutions of transversely isotropic poroelastic materials. Analytical general solutions for transversely isotropic poroelastic media under time-harmonic loading are derived for plane strain and axisymmetric problems by applying Fourier and Hankel integral transforms respectively. The fundamental solutions for a homogeneous half-space are then explicitly obtained by solving relevant boundary value-problems based on the derived general solutions. An exact stiffness matrix method is also employed based on the present general solutions to determine the fundamental solutions corresponding to multi-layered transversely isotropic poroelastic media. This research investigates the axial compression behavior of fire-damaged circular concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) stub columns externally confined with fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) sheets. A total of 38 CFST specimens were tested under axial compression to investigate the load capacity, ductility, stiffness and failure mode of fire-damaged CFST columns before and after strengthening with FRP sheets. This thesis presents the numerical studies of steel hollow section columns connected to corbels under industry crane loads, and the stiffening design using steel plates to enhance the maximum loading capacity against premature local buckling failures.
