Smart Financial Management Governance Based On Auditing As A Constitutional Mechanism For Accountability Of Algorithmic Authority, Ahmed Abdul Mahmood Al-Janabi, Yasser Saad Znad, Mohammed Salman Nima
Muthanna Journal of Administrative and Economics Sciences
This research examines the structural transformations brought about by the increasing use of algorithms and intelligent systems in financial management. These transformations extend beyond simply improving operational efficiency; they reshape the logic of decision-making and the distribution of power within organizations. The research is based on the premise that intelligent financial management generates a new form of algorithmic power, exercised through relatively closed computational models. This limits the interpretability and accountability of financial decisions within traditional governance frameworks. Furthermore, the research seeks to reframe the audit function from a regressive, compliance-based oversight role to a constitutional mechanism capable of holding …

Non-Parametric Bayesian Modeling For Predicting Financial Market Volatility, Maab Adil Sabbar, Ahmed Imad Jawad Alradhi
Muthanna Journal of Administrative and Economics Sciences
This study examines methodological developments in modeling financial market volatility, with a particular focus on Bayesian nonparametric approaches as flexible alternatives to traditional parametric models such as GARCH and stochastic volatility frameworks. While characteristics of financial time series—including fat tails, volatility clustering, asymmetry, and structural breaks—limit the effectiveness of rigid parametric specifications, nonparametric Bayesian tools such as Dirichlet Process Mixtures offer adaptive probabilistic structures that better capture the true behavior of returns.
Using daily data from the ISX Main 60 Index, the empirical analysis shows that although the GARCH(1,1) model achieves a good statistical fit, stable volatility estimates, and accurate …

Harnessing Artificial Intelligence For Real-Time Innovation In Upstream Oil And Gas: A Data-Driven Framework For Early Detection Of Lost Circulation Incidents, Gnana Allan Whinney Gnanapragasam
Journal of Global Management Research
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are reshaping upstream oil and gas operations, yet their value depends less on algorithmic sophistication than on converting heterogeneous sensor streams into timely operational decisions. This study develops and evaluates an AI-enabled framework for early detection of lost circulation incidents (LCIs) during drilling, positioning this safety-critical use case within the broader innovation architecture of upstream operations. Uncontrolled drilling-fluid losses generate non-productive time, well-control risk, and substantial cost. The empirical component uses historical surface drilling data from approximately 200 wells that experienced severe or total losses, recorded at an average frequency of 0.2 Hz (one …

Agreements And Disagreements About The Roll Of Leadership Team Diversity In Strategic Change: A Critical Review Of Measurement And Empirical Inconsistencies, Amy C. Horner
Engaged Management ReView
Research examining the relationship between leadership team diversity and strategic change has produced inconsistent and often contradictory findings. This dissertation digest synthesizes prior research through a meta-analytic review of twenty-five studies representing more than 500,000 observations across multiple industries and countries. The results indicate that relationships between leadership team diversity characteristics and strategic change are generally small in magnitude and highly variable across studies.
Rather than reflecting a clear directional effect, these patterns point to a fundamental challenge in the existing literature: inconsistency in how key constructs are defined and measured. Strategic change is operationalized through a wide range of …
