During August–September 2022, trial trenches were opened, followed by a trial excavation in three quarries at el-‘Isawiya neighborhood in Jerusalem (Permit No. A-9405/2022; Map ref. 223976-4041/634281-376), prior to the construction of a ring road. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Moria - Jerusalem Development Company Ltd. was directed by M. Hussein, with the assistance of B. Touri and Y. Zelinger (scientific consultation) and S. Halevi (photography and photogrammetry).

In December 2022, a salvage excavation was conducted in Yotvata (Permit No. A-9447/2022; Map ref. 205165-6210/423650-935) prior to laying a water pipeline. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Mekorot Water Company, was directed by T. Sapir (field photography), with the assistance of Y. Alamor (administration), E. Aladjem (surveying and field photography), I. Azulay (maps and plans), N. Lect Ben Ami (area supervision and field photography), G. Seriy and Y. Radashkovsky (Southern Negev District), A. Golani (archaeological consultation) and workers from Eilat.

In July 2022, a trial excavation was conducted on the declared antiquities site of Wadi Abu Shulula (Permit No. A-9310/2022; Map ref. 279492-782/755258-5258), following damage caused to the site. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Ministry of Defense, was directed by A. Kleiner (photography and photogrammetric documentation), with the assistance of Y. Yaakobi (administration) and workers from the town of Kabul.

The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by The Authority for the Regulation of Bedouin Settlement in the Negev was directed by A. Fraiberg, with the assistance of Y. Alamor (administration), I. Azoulay (plans), A. Golani and D. Eisenberg-Degen (scientific guidance) and a team of Palestinian laborers.

The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the developer group "Rova |One", was directed by D. Levi, with the assistance of N. Nehama and R. The data is collected from the January and December Evening Sales at Sotheby’s auction house in both London and New York. Since the presidency of Enrique Peña Nieto, affordable housing developments in Mexico have been produced in a massive, unsustainable scale. The speed at which these developments are produced equates to the carelessness that goes into their planning. At large, the developments’ monotonous design is aesthetically dehumanizing and fails to promote a sense of community. These developments lack basic infrastructure, and their residents have abandoned them, which has incentivized increased criminal activity.

Now part of the site of Kings Park in Perth, it remains cherished by today’s community for its botanic beauty and panoramic views. One of the most common inquiries received by Filson Historical Society librarians concerns the myth of Prince Madoc and the Welsh Indians. Of the myth’s many versions, the one most familiar to Ohio Valley History readers goes like this: Madoc, a Welsh prince escaping an internecine conflict over political rule at home, supposedly sailed to North America in the twelfth century. His force either landed at the Falls of the Ohio or made it there after landing further south and being driven north by hostile locals, possibly Cherokee people.
