African American students across income classes have been found to struggle with mathematics, impeding their ability to complete college, pursue lucrative careers, and address socioeconomic problems. Using the tenets of liberation and critical race theory, this qualitative case study explored the perceptions of a small group of 8 African American adults as to what they believe to be the root causes of mathematics achievement disparity for African American K-14 students, and what role the African American community can play in ameliorating these disparities. The Cuyuna Range is a former North American iron mining district about 90 miles(145 kilometers) west of Duluth in central Minnesota. The district was the furthest south and west of the three Minnesota iron ranges (Vermilion, Mesabi, and Cuyuna). In 2011, Students and staff from Michigan Technological University's Department of Social Sciences were asked to identify and promote features of the Cuyuna Range's mining heritage. Methods and approaches of mulitsited archaeology were used to unify the diverse places and themes into a more cohesive narrative. The world has yet to realize universal access to water and sanitation. Various academic and professional fields provide frameworks for understanding water and sanitation access, but none directly consider the impact of community connectivity. Community connectivity refers to the infrastructures linking rural communities with urban centers. These infrastructures fall under the broad categories of transportation, energy, and telecommunication. This paper examines 23 rural Panamanian communities and compares connectivity measures with the functionality of the communities’ rural water and sanitation systems (RWSS). The significance of this site lies in its location. It is three miles away from French Quarter, the heart and origin of the city, and eight miles away from Lake Borgne, as well as the Gulf. Regardless of the size, it distinguishes itself on the map as a wedge of green space inserted sharply into densely developed urban space. The site was prosperous cypress swamp six decades ago, too dense to identify lands and water underneath. Every January and February, Montana and other western states auction tags to hunt big horn sheep, moose, mountain goats, bears and other big game species to the highest bidder, at a series of hunting shows in Nevada. Some states call them “governor’s tags,” while others like Montana call them auction tags.

The purpose of the auctions is to raise funds for state conservation programs meant to keep wildlife populations healthy. In Montana, the funds raised are species specific, meaning that the proceeds from a bighorn sheep tag must be used to help bighorn sheep. Yet, the revenue from these tags …

พลับพลาพิธีเป็นที่ประทับ สําหรับรับรองพระมหากษัตริย์และพระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ในพระราชพิธีต่างๆ แม้จะใช้งานระยะสั้น แต่ก็ต้องมั่นคงแข็งแรงและสมพระเกียรติ โดยมีกรมโยธาธิการและผังเมือง เป็นหน่วยงานรับผิดชอบครอบคลุมพื้นที่ทั่วประเทศ จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์จะศึกษากระบวนการก่อสร้างและตกแต่งพลับพลาพิธี โดยใช้วิธีรวบรวมข้อมูล จากการสำรวจ สังเกตการณ์ บันทึกภาพ สัมภาษณ์ รวมทั้งค้นคว้าเอกสารอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้องพลับพลาพิธี ประกอบด้วยที่ประทับหรือที่นั่งประธานพิธี อาจมีอาสนสงฆ์ ผู้ติดตาม และผู้เข้าเฝ้าด้วย ซึ่งจะต้องเป็นไปตามลำดับชั้นหรือลำดับฐานะของประธานพิธี ได้แก่ พระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ ผู้แทนพระองค์ สมณศักดิ์ของพระสงฆ์ หรือรัฐมนตรี จากการศึกษาพบว่า พลับพลาพิธีมีความกว้าง 4.00-6.00เมตร ความยาว 4.00-24.00เมตร โดยขนาดเล็กสุดคือ 4.00x4.00เมตร สำหรับเป็นที่ประทับเพียงพระองค์เดียว และขนาดใหญ่สุดคือ 6.00x24.00เมตร ประกอบด้วยที่ประทับ อาสนสงฆ์ ผู้ติดตาม 30 คนและผู้เข้าเฝ้า 91 คน แต่ละพลับพลาพิธีจะแบ่งได้เป็น ส่วนโครงสร้าง ส่วนตกแต่งและส่วนประกอบ กองออกแบบและก่อสร้างพลับพลาพิธีแบ่งส่วนงานเป็น ส่วนอำนวยการและประสานราชการ ส่วนออกแบบและโครงการพิเศษ และส่วนปฏิบัติการและก่อสร้างพลับพลาพิธีมีเจ้าหน้าที่รวม 188 คนทั้งนี้จากการศึกษาพบว่าในการดำเนินการ มีการกำหนดบทบาทหน้าที่ของผู้ปฏิบัติงานชัดเจน มีข้อกำหนดในการปฏิบัติงาน มีการประสานงานกับผู้เกี่ยวข้อง มีการประชุมวางแผน มีการสำรวจพื้นที่ มีคลังพัสดุและครุภัณฑ์ที่มีความพร้อมและมีการตรวจสอบคุณภาพและการปฏิบัติงาน รวมทั้งการทำสำรวจความพึงพอใจของผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้อง กระบวนการทำงานของกองออกแบบและก่อสร้างพลับพลามี 3 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ 1.ระยะก่อนการจัดการ 2.ระยะจัดการ 3.ระยะหลังการจัดการ นอกจากนี้ยังมีงานก่อสร้างอาคารประกอบและงานตกแต่ง ซึ่งจะมีกระบวนการเหมือนกันเพียงแต่ไม่สร้างพลับพลาพิธี

As defined by Wai Mun Lim and Mel Endean in 2009 in their article “Elucidating the aesthetic and operational characteristics of UK boutique hotels” in the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Boutique hotels have less than 100 rooms, have an individualistic and unique design, are often in historic buildings, and have highly personalized service for guests.
