Prior to the team offering brief couples psychotherapy for assistance in the resolution of the pain problem, the team needed to assess the pain couples' relationship variables. Adherence to health care providers' recommendations is typically minimal unless all participants agree that specific treatment is warranted. Perceived Family Emotional Relationships, Person Orientations, And Expected-Job-Satisfaction Among Teachers In Training In Mexico : A Test Of Anne Roe's Theory Of Vocational Interest And Choice With The General Culture Group, Saul Torres

Research has mostly failed to support her global occupational predictions. This study explored the specific predictions for a General Culture Group.
Method. A sample of 298 subjects was used from the population of 311 teachers in training at the University of Montemorelos, N. L., Mexico. …

This pilot study was developed to teach people with mental retardation about their own sexuality, appropriate community behaviors, and to develop within them a basic sense of responsibility for their own actions. Problems in social/sexual behaviors have been consistently quoted as reasons for high recidivism rates, as well as difficulties in community living, vocational placement, and other generalized stereotypes about mental retardation. Often the public remains uninformed about, does not recognize, and/or feels that sexual rights for people with any mental differences should not exist. Additionally, when any form of sexuality was expressed by such people it resulted in shock …
