Organizing and Disseminating Knowledge about Creativity: Themes in the 1999 Journal of Creative Behavior This Master’s project contains a content analysis of articles from the Journal of Creative Behavior, 1999. This effort is one piece of a larger, long-term initiative to organize and synthesize the creativity journal literature (Bowman-Jones, 1999; Donaldson, 1999; Ezrin, 1999; Carroll, 2000). To analyze and report on themes, this project continued to use the Runco and Feist, 1993 schema which contained categories created to analyze trends and themes over 25 years of the Journal of Creative Behavior. Data were collected in five domains: Structural Characteristics, Authorship …

Linking Creativity And Psychological Type, Marci Segal
Linking Creativity And Psychological Type, Marci Segal
Creativity and Change Leadership Graduate Student Master's Projects
This project reviews the author's discoveries linking creativity with psychological type and Keirsey's Temperament theory. These form the foundation of her newly published work. Creativity and Personality Type: Tools for Understanding and Inspiring the Many Voices of Creativity (2001). Facilitators often design and lead creative problem solving sessions that match their own style without awareness that group and client needs may be different. Recommendations are given for facilitators to maximize their impact …

Effects Of Brainstorming Or Short-Term Incubation On Divergent Production In Problem-Solving, Roger L. Firestien
Effects Of Brainstorming Or Short-Term Incubation On Divergent Production In Problem-Solving, Roger L. Firestien
Creativity and Change Leadership Graduate Student Master's Projects
Thls study was designed to lnvestigate differences in
divergent
production performance among students who were involved in a
brainstorming
sesslon r,rhlle ineubatlng and subJects who only incubated. Effeets of
the
treatments !'Iere assessed by subJect6f responses on a written problem
solving
inventory.
Anal-ysls of variance indicated that the performance of subjects
who
rrrere tralned in dlvergent productior, i.e., brainsLorming, was
greater
thal that of subjects who were not tralned ln divergent production.
The
incubation treatment, however, dld not seem to influence
subjectsr
divergent production scores
significantly.
New directions are proposed to study effects of various
attributes
of incubatlon as compared …
