The goal of this project is to use creativity to produce an interesting and fun learning experience about the foreign country Kyrgyzstan. Using current research on the best ways to structure a learning environment, a display was created in which people of high school age and above can participate and learn new information. Kyrgyzstan was chosen as the topic of the learning center because it is a relatively unknown country to most Americans, yet a look into its culture produces a greater understanding and appreciation for the creativity of the people living there.

This project is about the construction of a creativity room in my home that allows for work, study, play and relaxation. This room is designed and organized in a way to promote creativity. This project focused on understanding current member motivation and involvement in the two organizations; Outdoor Activities Unlimited Club of Monroe Community College and the Genesee Valley Region Adirondack Club Younger Members. As a leader in both organizations it was intended to understand member motivation and involvement in an attempt to increase both. Through three months of events, meetings, and communication both membership and motivation have increased. Members have various reasons for joining clubs pertaining to the outdoors and there are cycles in the feeling of member responsibility and convenience as people’s lives change.

The conceptualization is culminated in a formal book proposal created to publishing

The purpose of this master’s project was to contribute to Janice Francisco and Cyndi Burnett’s (2008) research on deliberate intuition within the Creative Problem Solving Thinking Skills Model (CPSTSM) framework developed by Puccio, Murdock & Mance (2007). 16 intuition tools, “itools” (Francisco & Burnett, 2008) aimed at tapping into deliberate intuition as an integral component of the creative process, were collected, described, developed, and grouped into 4 categories; Quick & Dirty, Artsy Fartsy, Yellow Brick Road, and Abracadabra. This project focused on the development of ten physical education lesson plans based on the creative climate research done by Goran Ekvall (1984, 1996, 1999). Each lesson plan was created with a deliberate focus on one dimension of a creative climate. The lessons were taught to a fourth grade class, twice a week, for forty minutes each class period.
