Amid the horror of the Russia-Ukraine war, Black refugees from Ukraine have suffered multiple traumas: The trauma of war and the trauma of anti-blackness. The world caught a glimpse of this via social media and news reports that African people were physically blocked from boarding trains and buses by Ukrainian officials, as well as neighboring countries denied entry to people who were not “Ukrainian.” These double traumas have undoubtedly placed Black refugees in Ukraine among the most vulnerable group of people in this humanitarian crisis. This study done was used to look at how a stimulus that may be distracting or unimportant can impact brainwaves. The study used a test called the flanker paradigm which gives the participants multiple stimuli of X’s or O’s in a line of three. Only the middle stimuli were important, requiring the participant to select the left button for O and right for X. Learning from historic cities involves the development of representational and analytical tools aimed at capturing their essence as places of human interaction. This thesis considers how Voodoo is presented and experienced in various tourism and heritage sites within New Orleans in the present moment. A variety of visual representations, verbal narratives and multimedia performances were documented and analyzed through participant observation. This paper examines the development process of a library Blackboard course by a Research & Instruction Librarian at the University of Mississippi over the course of one summer. The Library Skills and Orientation course sought to address two issues: limited first-year instruction capabilities and underdeveloped skillsets in upper-level students. Rising From The Flames: How Researching Burnout Impacted Two Academic Librarians, Robert Griggs-Taylor, Jessica Lee

In 2021, four tenure-track academic librarians surveyed academic library workers who are parents to gauge how parenting affects symptoms of burnout. The COVID-19 pandemic caused an explosion of burnout related literature resulting in an oversaturation of the word in today’s society; however, the authors remain deeply impacted by their research. In this paper, two of those four librarians reflect on the effect that the survey on burnout had on their approaches to management, work, and personal life. Societal pressures to ‘return to normal’ has not alleviated burnout, instead these pressures caused these librarians to reframe their views around what library …
