The development of an educational program that will meet the needs of all pupils is a goal that is sought by all educators. The needs of individual pupils will be met if such a goal is ever realized. Such a program, by appreciating the fact that each individual has a different rate and aptitude for learning, should help children of all ages and abilities achieve their full potential.

The purpose of this study was to develop an Instructional 16 mm color film on Greco-Roman wrestling moves, counters, and drills which would benefit those on all levels interested in the use of upperbody wrestling techniques. To achieve this objective it was necessary to determine the moves, counters and drills which are most successfully used in Greco-Roman wrestling. This was accomplished by means of a questionnaire and by personal interviews with nationally and internationally known coaches and competitors. The comparative effectiveness of two speech correction approaches was studied in the therapeutic situation (within the program and the setting of the public school). The Van Riper adult-directed auditory stimulation method, used by many speech therapists today, was compared with a self-directed and modified Backus and Beasley approach to sound correction. The problem resolved was: Which method will be most effective in helping first and second grade children acquire adequate articulation skills?

Training and employment needs for food service personnel employed in 20 randomly selected hospitals in East Tennessee were studied. Hospital administrators and heads of dietary departments answered questionnaires and participated in personal interviews.
Shortage of adequately trained food service personnel existed. Thirty percent of the heads of dietary departments had earned baccalaureate degrees, 15 percent were members of the American Dietetic Association; whereas 10 percent had not graduated from high school. Eighty percent had participated in food service training programs prior to current employment with 65 percent participating in the last two years. Five percent of the remaining food service …

Statement of Problem: Many students are excluded from participation in school athletic programs, and thus, from an opportunity to benefit from the educational experiences afforded. While playing ability would appear to be the most logical and common-sense criterion for the exclusion of certain students, a variety of psycho-social factors may also serve as important criteria upon which the exclusion and inclusion of athletes are based. To obtain information concerning the existence of such factors, an investigation was undertaken concerning player-coach compatibility and its role in cutting students from athletic squads.

The purpose of this investigation was to analyze problems of and solutions to student discontent as viewed by university administrators and student leaders. In addition, the responsibilities, future, and roles of these two groups were investigated, along with questions about the involvement of faculty and students in protest issues and their value positions. Talcott Parsons' theoretical framework, which includes the concept of functional imperatives, was used to achieve deeper interpretation of the results. Several hypotheses derived from Parsons' theory were set forth and tested.

The major purpose of this study was to determine whether there was significant change in selected vocational attitudes after a period of vocational training and whether participation in group counseling affected those attitudes.
The subjects were 135 adult women enrolled in post high school vocational training. One group was engaged in remedial academic work preparatory to entering a training major; the other was beginning a training major. From each of these groups, a random sample was selected for participation in group counseling.

The problem was to gather data on each specific item and present it in a usable manner. This study investigated the influence of the examiner on children administered Machover's Draw A Person Test. Forty third and fourth grade children from two elementary schools served as subjects. The administrators were college students.
The subjects were randomly divided into four groups of 5 at each school, so that each examiner administered the test twice, once at each school. Examiners were also randomly assigned to their groups.
It was hypothesized that children tend to use the administrator of the DAP as a model for their drawings. The statistical analysis of data, however, did not support the hypothesis.

This study was a preliminary endeavor concerned with an investigation into whether young adults of defined age ranges and defined intellectual levels obtain significantly different scores on the Digit Symbol sub-test of the WAIS.
With the confidence level set at .05, the null hypothesis that there was no significant difference between the Digit Symbol sub-test scores of the retarded, normal, and superior groups was tested. The term young adults was used to describe subjects between the ages of seventeen and twenty-five. The purpose of this study was to determine if a group of kindergarten children, after receiving instructional activities designed to develop automatic-sequential language skills, would differ from a matched control group not receiving such instruction. The design of the study called for the administration of the three ITPA subtests, Visual-Motor Sequencing, Auditory-Vocal Sequencing, and Auditory-Vocal Automatic, to both groups prior to and following the program of instructional activities.
