The flow experience can be an important precursor to high levels of creativity and innovation. Prior work has identified and conceptualized the key elements of the flow experience in cocreative activities as individual flow corridor, individual flow feeling, and group flow. Surprisingly, the flow experience is underrepresented in theory and practice of design thinking. In this empirical study, the flow experience at the individual and group level was investigated in a 1-day design thinking exercise. This study examines the intersections between Product Development (PD) and the Supply Chain (SC) and their impact on the performance of New Product Introductions (NPI). We employ a PD/SC interface that consists of multiple viable sub-process connections and explore conjectures from past research that (a) only a selected number of such connections may be necessary and (b) that some may be more valuable than others. We use survey data of new product introduction projects from a wide range of industries to test the conjectures. Since the early calls for the use of a hierarchy-of-effects approach to assessing and then strategically guiding corporate management in its oversight of CSR endeavors by the enterprise, research related to CSR effects overwhelming shows many favorable social exchanges between CSR firms and relevant stakeholders. Given the attractiveness of CSR payoffs to the firm – but recognizing the resource costs also associated with CSR decisions – a renewed case is manifest for how corporate governance can better understand and optimize CSR efforts, all to the betterment of both the organization and its key stakeholders.

Cognitive fit theory (CFT) has emerged as a dominant theoretical lens to explain decision performance when using data representations to solve decision making tasks. Despite the apparent consensus regarding cognitive effort's theoretical criticality in CFT-based research, researchers have made limited attempts to evaluate and empirically measure cognitive effort and its impact. Unlike prior CFT-based literature that has theorized only the role of cognitive effort, in our empirical study, we presented information and tasks to 68 participants and directly measured cognitive effort to understand how cognitive fit impacts it and how it impacts decision performance. While applications of big data have been extensively studied, discussion is mostly made from the perspectives of computer science, Internet services, and informatics. Alternatively, this article takes the big data approach as an institutional innovation and uses the problem of illegal subdivided units (ISUs) in Hong Kong as a case study. High transaction costs incurred in identification of suspected ISUs and associated enforcement actions lead to a proliferation of ISUs in the city. Guanxi, a social exchange mechanism built on mutual favors, is an integral part of Chinese culture and a necessary relationship management tool for businesses operating in the People's Republic of China (PRC). This paper uses the cognition-affect-conation trajectory to illustrate the subtle differences between guanxi approach and the conventional relationship marketing approaches on customer loyalty and word-of-mouth intentions. This process is mediated by calculative trust and affective attitude toward the service provider, while operationalizing the in-group identification construct to gauge in-group membership.
