In this study we investigate how an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) might be used to gain a better understanding of the factors that influence customers decisions to accept E-payment services in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The work adapted a quantitative approach, and a questionnaire was distributed to 530 E-payment users in the Kingdom of Bahrain using convenience sampling, and 397 viable responses were collected for further analysis. Research hypotheses were tested after a descriptive analysis was conducted to identify patterns in the data and a subsequent inferential analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) with confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and …

On Construction Of Tri-Concept Lattices, S. El-Assar, A. Badawy, I. Gad, S. Emad Jan 2024

On Construction Of Tri-Concept Lattices, S. El-Assar, A. Badawy, I. Gad, S. Emad

Information Sciences Letters

The main point is to define the structure of a Tri-Concept lattice to deal with data given by different sources and represent it by less complex structures without loosing knowledge. We suggest the algorithm TRI-NEST to form the nested diagrams corresponding to the Tri-Concept lattices. Adding the ICE-T algorithm enables us to generate all frequently closed concepts, which leads to simplifying the Tri-Concept lattices and using the Iceberg Concept lattices as a reduction method to the big data while preserving all information.

Predicting Heart Disease Using Modified Googlenet Convolutional Neural Network Architecture Based On The Heart Sound, Abdullah R. Rashwan, Laila El Fangary, Safaa M. Azzam

Information Sciences Letters

Based on the data of the world health organization (WHO), diagnosing heart disease is a great task, as heart disease (HD) is the most prevalent disease worldwide. We suggested a method based on heart sounds to deal with this difficult issue because the heart sound (HS) is an essential component for detecting heart conditions. A feature extraction technique and a classifier are used in the suggested strategy. We use the GoogLeNet convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture with some modifications to separate the most crucial attributes of HS, and the heart condition is classified as diseased or not diseased based on …

Singularities Of Retractions Of Chaotic Dynamical Eguchi-Hanson Space, Suliman Alsaeed, A.E. El-Ahmady

Information Sciences Letters

This paper introduces types of chaotic retractions singularities in chaotic dynamical Eguchi-Hanson space. The retractions singularities of chaotic dynamical Eguchi-Hanson space by using Lagrangian equations are deduced. The effects of the retraction singularity on the variation of the dimension of the chaotic dynamical Eguchi-Hanson space by the time t are presented. The retractions singularities restriction imposed on the physical characteristics are also discussed. A new category of dynamical extension of chaotic dynamical Eguchi-Hanson space is presented. A new method for obtaining Eguchi-Hanson space’s fractal retraction singularity dimension has been presented. Some applications are obtained.

Entrepreneurial Orientation And Organizational Performance: Exploring Moderated Curvilinear Relationships, Gang Fan, Mengge Li, Derrick E. D’Souza

Hunt Institute Working Paper Series

Empirical investigations of the EO–firm performance relationship have typically focused on small and medium-sized ventures and have relied on survey data. Will the shape of the relationship curve hold for firms that moved past the ‘ventures’ phase? Our study investigates a sample of 11,843 small, medium, and large publicly listed firms drawn from the COMPUSTAT database. We confirm the existence of a U-shaped EO-performance relationship, and our analysis offers new evidence on the role of EO in SMEs versus large firms. Contrary to conventional wisdom, our sample of SMEs displayed lower levels of EO than large firms, and large firms …

Exploring The Reactivity Of Metal-Ligand Cooperative Complexes With Dioxazolones, Terminal Alkynes, And 2-Ethynylbenzyl Alcohol, Megan A. Hoffer Miss

Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Repository

N-Acyl ketenimines were attempted to be synthesized catalytically by [Ru(Cp)(PPh2NPh2)(NCMe)]PF6 with phenylacetylene and 3-phenethynyl-1,2,4-dioxazol-5-one. Trapping agents were employed to identify the major product of the reaction, as many products were formed. [Ru(Cp)(PPh2NPh2)(NCMe)]PF6 reacts with 3-phenethynyl-1,2,4-dioxazol-5-one generating an isocyanate via the Curtius rearrangement, confirmed by a forced Curtius rearrangement with 3-phenethynyl-1,2,4-dioxazol-5-one and 1,2,4-triazole. Rates of vinylidene formation using [Ru(Cp)(PPh2NPh2)(NCMe)]PF6 and various terminal alkynes of different sterics and electronics were evaluated using a Hammett analysis for and simple rate comparisons. …
