In North Korea, music and songs have extensively been used as an effective political tool of state propaganda. Unlike previous research which overlooks the contents of the songs, this thesis examines how their lyrics reflect political ideologies and propaganda operation of North Korean regimes. Their lyrics are analyzed in light of the historical context they were written in and widely perceived. วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษาเปรียบเทียบคำและสำนวนที่มี 口 "KOU" และ 嘴 "ZUI"ใน ภาษาจีนกลางกับ "ปาก" ในภาษาไทย เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความหมายว่าเหมือนกันหรือแตกต่างกันอย่างไร จากผลการศึกษาสรุปได้ว่า ความหมายของคำและสำนวนที่มีคำว่า "ปาก" ทั้งในภาษาจีนและภาษาไทยสามารถจำแนกความหมายได้เป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ ความหมายโดยตรง กับความหมายโดยนัย ส่วนการเปรียบเทียบสำนวนจีนและสำนวนไทยที่มีคำว่า "ปาก" ส่วนใหญ่มีความหมายเหมือนและใกล้เคียงกัน สามารถแบ่งได้เป็น 3 กลุ่ม ดังนี้ 1. เปรียบเทียบสำนวนจีนที่มีคำว่า 口 "KOU" หรือ 嘴 "ZUI" กับสำนวนไทยที่มี คำว่า "ปาก" 2. เปรียบเทียบสำนวนจีนที่มีคำว่า 口 "KOU" หรือ 嘴 "ZUI" กับสำนวนไทยไม่ได้ใช้คำว่า "ปาก" 3. เปรียบเทียบสำนวนไทยที่มี คำว่า ปาก กับสำนวนจีนไม่ได้ใช้คำว่า 口 "KOU" หรือ 嘴 "ZUI" อย่างไรก็ตาม สำนวนจีนและสำนวนไทยไม่ว่าภาษาใดหรือชาติใด สำนวนเหล่านี้เกิดจากความรู้สึกนึกคิดของมนุษย์ที่เกิดจากธรรมชาติ การกระทำ การดำเนินชีวิต ความประพฤติ หรือจารีตประเพณี ตลอดจนมโนทัศน์และค่านิยมต่างๆของทั้งสองประเทศที่มีความคล้ายคลึงกันและแตกต่างกันไปตามบริบทของสังคม

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษารูปประโยค องค์ประกอบ และความหมายของประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่ในภาษาจีนกลาง และการเปรียบเทียบกับภาษาไทย เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทยรู้จักและเข้าใจประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่ในภาษาจีนกลางอย่างถูกต้อง ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การสื่อความหมายแสดงการดำรงอยู่มี 2 ลักษณะ ลักษณะที่หนึ่ง คือ "สถานที่หรือเวลาหนึ่งมีสิ่งบางสิ่งดำรงอยู่ ปรากฏขึ้น หรือหายไป" หรือลักษณะที่สอง คือ "มีสิ่งบางสิ่งดำรงอยู่ ปรากฏขึ้น หรือหายไป ณ สถานที่หนึ่ง" ซึ่งโครงสร้างของประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่ในภาษาจีนกลาง (存现句) จะมีลำดับคำตามการแสดงความหมายในลักษณะที่หนึ่งเท่านั้น หากจะแสดงความหมายตามลักษณะที่สองจะอยู่รูปประโยคอื่นที่สื่อความหมายเดียวกัน ประโยคที่สื่อความหมายแสดงการดำรงอยู่ในภาษาไทยใช้โครงสร้าง "มี..อยู่" มาเทียบเคียงกับการแสดงความหมายดำรงอยู่ได้ในทั้ง 2 ลักษณะ ต่างกันที่ตำแหน่งของวลีบอกสถานที่เท่านั้น ประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่แบ่งประเภทได้เป็น ประโยคแสดงการมีอยู่ (存在) ประโยคแสดงการปรากฏขึ้น (出现) และประโยคแสดงการหายไป (消失) ซึ่งประโยคแสดงการมีอยู่จะสามารถสื่อความได้ในรูปแบบแสดงสภาวะ (静态) เท่านั้น ส่วนประโยคแสดงการปรากฏขึ้นและประโยคแสดงการหายไปสามารถสื่อความได้ทั้งในรูปแบบแสดงสภาวะและรูปแบบแสดงการเคลื่อนไหว (动态) ภาษาไทยสามารถใช้กริยา "มี" คำเดียวโดยละคำว่า "อยู่" ได้ในรูปแสดงการมีอยู่โดยตรง และสามารถใช้กริยา "เกิด" หรือ "ปรากฏ" ในประโยคแสดงการแสดงการปรากฏขึ้น โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องใช้โครงสร้าง "มี...อยู่" ก็ได้ นอกจากนี้ ประโยคแสดงการดำรงอยู่ที่ใช้คำช่วย "过" หรือ "เคย" เรียกได้ว่าเป็น "ประโยคแสดงประสบการณ์การดำรงอยู่"

The centuries-old conception of judges and arbitrators as highly predictable and objective is being dismantled. In its place, a much more textured, complicated, and challenging understanding of legal decision-making is being constructed. New research on “Motivated Cognition” demonstrates that judges and arbitrators are more human than mechanical, pouring themselves – and the cultural and institutional contexts within which they act – into their decision making. Establishing water quality standards for point sources and permissible wastewater emission standards to achieve the target environmental standard were part of the efforts. 《說文解字》省形字的說解系統研究, Hin Chi Tam

漢人許慎所著的《說文解字》為中國現存最早亦最完整的字書，許慎以「六書」、「省形」、「省聲」、「亦聲字」等概念為九千多個漢字的形音義作解析，其中「省形字」與「省聲字」並稱為「省變字」。從清代以來研究省聲字的學者很多，亦因而衍生出不少學說及理論，但對於省形字的分析卻未有跟上這樣的步伐，更有學者全面地否認省形字的存在 ，但大多的學者對於省形字都抱有肯定卻存疑的態度。大多數的學者對省形字的研究都環繞著將省形字重新歸納入「六書」中，但對於省形字所擁有的系統性及科學性卻沒有一個完整的說明，本文將就《說文解字》中「省形」說的系統作一淺述，包括省形字的內部系統和外部系統以及省形字出現的原因，以此來說明「省形說」的客觀性。

成長與傳承 : 論明代《鍾馗全傳》, Kwun Lok Liu

鍾馗的故事始見於唐代，其身影遍布多個朝代，包括唐、宋、明及清，更流傳至今。鍾馗的故事經歷多個朝代，被增補刪減，而較為完整的有：明代的《慶豐年五鬼鬧鍾馗》，明代萬曆年間（1573年至1620年） 所著的《鍾馗全傳》及較為人熟悉的清代《斬鬼傳》。鍾馗的故事歷久不衰，研究鍾馗的論文亦多不勝數，但這些論文集中於探討《慶豐年五鬼鬧鍾馗》及《斬鬼傳》兩個文本為主，較少研究《鍾馗全傳》這本書，這本書亦是第一本由鍾馗出生，成長，歷險，完整記載的章回小說。而論文研究主要分析鍾馗由來，文本流變，唐明歷史背景，或宗教信仰，卻未有從成長小說角度分析，以及《鍾馗全傳》對於鍾馗文本流變的價值及重要性等方面探討，本文借用成長型小說來探討明代《鍾馗全傳》的價值。

本文分成四大部分。第一部分描述鍾馗故事的版本及文本的流變。第二部分定義成長式小說，並以此觀念分析明代《鍾馗全傳》。第三部分，從諷刺性，人性化，主題三方面，探討《鍾馗全傳》如何做到開創先河及承上啟下。第四部分，總結全文，並於附錄收錄鍾馗文本比較、鍾馗圖像，以及文化地位和習俗。

九頭蛇考 : 論《山海經》的相柳, Ho Sing, Alexander Man

《山海經》一書合共十八篇，內容包含千奇百怪，以異類為本的記載。前人研究《山海經》，主要分為經文表達的文化研究、以母題分類之研究及專門研究所載的神異動物三類。治水神話隸屬於母題研究下，是較為廣泛的母題研究之一。學者研究治水神話之時，正面大多以鯀禹入手，反面則主要以共工作為研究對象。兩派相爭，所涉及的神、人、事必定多如繁星。九頭蛇相柳，便為其中一員。作為能與上古神明爭鬥，怒撞不周山之共工臣子，其神力想必不容小覷。然而《山海經》對此名猛員大將只有隻字片語式的記載，亦鮮有學術論文就其作討論。故本文將以九頭蛇相柳作為主要研究對象，對其進行深入考釋。

論文將以三個部分深入分析九頭蛇相柳，先以圖騰崇拜入手，探討古人對蛇圖騰之崇拜而誕生的蛇神信仰；第二部分則以變形及怪誕入手，分析神異動物九頭蛇的外型特點；最後藉《山海經》對相柳之載，從而探討相柳的神格，剖析其神力之大。

蕭紅《生死場》與《呼蘭河傳》的抗日主題, Yat Long Wong

「我知道，我還是免不了想，我算甚麼呢？屈辱算甚麼呢？災難算甚麼呢？甚至死算甚麼呢？我不明白，我究竟是一個人還是兩個；是這樣想的是了呢？還是那樣想的是。不錯，只要飛，但同時覺得……我會掉下來。」

坎坷的命運，短暫的創作生涯，「天空是低的，羽翼是稀薄的」。即使有著諸多限制，有「文壇洛神」美譽的蕭紅仍然寫出了不少為人稱道的作品，包括兩部傳世經典長篇小說：《生死場》與《呼蘭河傳》。夏志清先生坦言他沒有將這兩部名篇納入《中國現代小說史》是「最不可寬恕的疏忽」。

歷來關於《生死場》的抗日主題，一直存在爭論。歷代研究者致力從不同方面闡釋《生死場》的主題，為蕭紅的創作源由提供了多個解讀方式。前人研究多從理論出發，少以文本為綱，尚有待補漏之處。故本文旨在深入文本，從故事中人物的轉變分析《生死場》的抗日主題，並探討《生死場》與《呼蘭河傳》主題的關係。

本文可大致分為三部分，第一部分將回歸文本，梳理《生死場》中的人物在抗日前後的轉變；第二部分則以第一部分的內容為綱，審視《生死場》的抗日主題，並分析抗日情節在小說中所起的作用；第三部分則把《生死場》與《呼蘭河傳》連繫起來，探討蕭紅在《呼蘭河傳》中未有繼承在《生死場》中的抗日情節的原因。

Li Zehou’s work can be understood as an account of a Chinese modernity, a vision for Chinese society that seeks to integrate three distinct philosophical approaches. These are Chinese history and culture, which Li understands as largely Confucian; Marxism, which has exerted such influence on a modernizing China; and Western learning more generally, as expressed by figures such as Immanuel Kant and Sigmund Freud. Li also frequently expresses the hope that a Chinese modernity will be one in which the importance of the individual is recognized, and rights and freedoms upheld (e.g., 2006, p. 182).
