Clinical notes of a patient’s visit to a healthcare provider are necessary for patient care, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance with federal and state laws. Over time, non-standardized processes within the EHR have led to the increasing use of copy-paste to complete clinical notes, leading to irrelevant information being captured in the notes. Sinsky et al. (2020) shared that 49% of physicians' time is spent within the EHR, completing their documentation, placing orders, and reviewing the patient's chart. Skeletal dysplasia encompasses a spectrum of over 400 rare inheritable skeletal abnormalities typically manifested early in childhood. Hypertrophic Osteoarthropathy is a clinical syndrome marked by abnormal skin and osseous tissue proliferation at the distal extremities. It is characterized by unique clinical features such as digital clubbing, periostosis of tubular bones, and synovial effusions.

Patients with anemia and other conditions resulting in loss of blood often come with orders to return wasted blood to them. While using typical blood draw practices, patients are placed at an increased risk of infection when their blood is exposed to the outside world. My question is, will using a closed system decrease the instances of infection in patients who receive their waste blood after draws? BACKGROUND: Interventions focusing on epilepsy self-management (ESM) are vital for promoting the health of people living with epilepsy. E-technology and mobile health (mHealth) tools are becoming increasingly integrated into practice to promote self-management strategies for chronic diseases, enhance care delivery, and reduce health disparities. Management Information and Decision Support Epilepsy Tool (MINDSET), a bilingual decision support tool (available in English and Spanish), was found to be both feasible and effective in facilitating goal-based ESM in the clinic.

RATIONALE & OBJECTIVE: Because of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the US government issued emergency waivers in March 2020 that removed regulatory barriers around the use of telemedicine. For the first time, nephrologists were reimbursed for telemedicine care delivered during in-center hemodialysis. We examined the use of telemedicine for in-center hemodialysis during the first 16 months of the pandemic.

STUDY DESIGN: We ascertained telemedicine modifiers on nephrologist claims. We used multivariable regression to examine time trends and patient, dialysis facility, and geographic correlates of telemedicine use. PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to describe the frequency of psychosocial risk and its associations with glycemic levels in youth with type 1 diabetes (T1D) seen by social work staff during regular clinical care.

METHODS: A retrospective longitudinal analysis of observational clinical data was conducted. This study presents the combustion and emission results obtained from a laboratory furnace equipped with a 35 kW industrial burner that utilizes co-combustion of pulverized biomass and diesel fuel. The experiment compared the co-combustion of pulverized biomass and diesel fuel with diesel fuel alone. Three different loading ratios of pulverized biomass from residual beet samples were used. Temperatures were measured at various positions inside the furnace to analyze combustion performance.
