Case Studies For Treatment Of Warts With Homoeopathy, Md Shaikh

Warts are the growth of skin resulting from human papillomavirus infection. These may be single, multiple, smooth, or cauliflower-like and are generally treated by applying medicine externally or surgical excision procedure. Homoeopathy has a major role in the treatment of warts and most of the homoeopathic doctors use medicine in centesimal potencies. Five cases of warts were treated, two cases with centesimal potencies, and three cases treated with fifty millesimal potencies. Cases treated with fifty millesimal potencies responded more quickly than centesimal potencies without aggravating the complaints and without applying any external medicines. The Asteraceae, or the daisy family, is the largest family of flowering plants in the world, and its ethnobotanical, medical, and economic value is readily apparent cross-culturally. Background: Patients with chronic pain are often crippled by psychological distress, depression and fear. These patients also can develop altered pain perception, with enhanced brain activity in pain-responsive regions and those associated with anxiety/depression. Exercise and meditation can impact pain-reducing brain areas and positively influence pain characteristics.

Purpose: To alter pain center activity by reducing the activation of the higher brain and deactivation of the lower brain with somatocognitive and meditative practices, with secondary aim of reducing anxiety/depression and improve overall quality of life.

The Use Of Dietary Supplements Among Division Ii Collegiate Athletes, Ariel M. Fralick

The purpose of the present study was to incorporate the Theory of Reasoned Action into the examination of Division 11 collegiate athletes and the consumption of dietary supplements. The areas that were analyzed consisted of gender differences and sport differences based on the three subscales of behavioral intentions, attitudes toward behavior, and subjective norms in the SPAADSU (Perko, 1999). Results revealed that males scored significantly lower than females on the subscales of attitude towards behavior and subjective norms. Males were more likely to agree with the questions associated with attitude towards behavior and subjective norms. Significant differences among the sports …
