Peran Support Group Dalam Mendorong Motivasi Belajar Remaja : Action Research Pada Pelajar Sma X, Afra Afifah
Jurnal Ilmu Kesejahteraan Sosial
This study discusses how support group plays a role in encouraging student’s learning motivation with action research approach. Application of support group becomes an alternative to complete counseling approach in dealing with adolescent learning problem in school. After running the program, an evaluation conducted on five students as the object of study. The result showed that student’s awareness on the low of learning motivation as a problem to be solved affects their involvement in the group. Students who have that awareness are able to engage within group well and get benefit from the existence of group.

This research is a study summative evaluation PUK Strengthening Program in Solo with a quantitative approach. The goal is to measure outcome indicators and analyzes the factors that influence the achievement of outcomes based on aspects of the process and input. The analysis was done by means of univariate and bivariate with cross table, Chi Square and Kendall Tau. The results showed that the outcome indicators has not been achieved. A slum or squatter is identified by poor quality of housing and unsanitary conditions. The common agreed explanation of the conditions is to link the rapid growth of population, poverty and environment limitations. The research discusses about the Social Capital Formation Among Djarum Scholars/ Beswan Djarum (The Study of Implementation of Djarum Beasiswa Plus Program). In order to explain the matter, the approach that is used is descriptive qualitative research design. The results showed that the formation of social capital is related to the activity which was followed by Beswan Djarum as a process of both formal and informal processes. The Informal and formal process can enhance and broaden interaction among Beswan Djarum and produces a variety of benefits.

Organizational performance has always been viewed based on physical capital, such as money or assets. This is certainly not adequate because it ignores other aspects, such as intelligence, cooperation, trust, and so forth. POPIS (physical capital, organizational capital, political capital, intellectual capital, sociocultural capital) conception offers a more comprehensive perspective on the various capital that affect organizational performance. But, in fact, among the various capital, there are some capital that is more dominant than the other capital-capital. SBW and KGJ cooperative performance clearly demonstrate the dominant role of socio-cultural capital in influencing the success of those two institutions.

Through case study on one microfinance institution namely lumbung pitih nagari located in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, this study found that the existence of the micro credit institute has been influenced by several factors such as state regulations. Adolescent’s sexual behavior can be controlled to be inactive by providing sexual education to them. From 215 adolescenst,63.3% seldom receive sexual education from their parent. There’s 76.7% respondents get sexual education through peer group. 68.8% respondent admits that receive frequent sexual education through mass media. There’re 77.7% respondents are sexually inactive. Liveliness depends on various activities and also its intensity. There’re 22.3% respondents never having courtship. 3.3% respondents, who have motived in courtship, have sexual activity before married. From relation between variables, the respondents who seldom receive sexual education have possibility consider 0.83 more sexually active than the respondents who …
