การวิจัยเรื่อง การนำกระบวนการยุติธรรมเชิงสมานฉันท์มาใช้ในศาลเยาวชนและครอบครัว : ศึกษาการพัฒนามาตรการพิเศษแทนการดำเนินคดีอาญาชั้นหลังฟ้องคดี มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการนำกระบวนการยุติธรรมเชิงสมานฉันท์มาใช้ในกระบวนการยุติธรรมทางอาญาสำหรับเด็กและเยาวชนโดยศาลเยาวชนและครอบครัวผ่านการดำเนินการตามมาตรการพิเศษแทนการดำเนินคดีอาญาชั้นหลังฟ้องคดี ที่ได้นำแนวทางการศึกษาการนำนโยบายไปปฏิบัติมาใช้เป็นแนววิเคราะห์ปัญหาและอุปสรรคผ่านปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความสำเร็จหรือความล้มเหลวจากขั้นตอนการนำไปปฏิบัติ และศึกษาเปรียบเทียบกับกระบวนการของต่างประเทศ นำไปสู่ข้อเสนอแนะแนวทางการพัฒนาการดำเนินการตามมาตรการพิเศษแทนการดำเนินคดีอาญาชั้นหลังฟ้องคดี เพื่อให้เกิดการพัฒนาและสามารถแก้ไขปัญหาอุปสรรคที่เกิดขึ้นจากการนำไปปฏิบัติโดยศาลเยาวชนและครอบครัวได้ โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ด้วยการวิจัยเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง การสังเกต การอภิปรายกลุ่ม และการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึกจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ให้ได้ข้อมูลเพื่อนำมาวิเคราะห์แบบอุปนัย สร้างข้อสรุปเพื่อตอบคำถามการวิจัย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การดำเนินการตามมาตรการพิเศษแทนการดำเนินคดีอาญาชั้นหลังฟ้องคดี เป็นทางเลือกหนึ่งแทนกระบวนการทางตุลาการปกติ ซึ่งประยุกต์มาจากงานยุติธรรมเชิงสมานฉันท์ ที่ผู้กระทำสำนึกผิดเข้าสู่กระบวนการของการมีส่วนร่วมจากทุกฝ่ายผ่านการพูดคุย ให้ได้ผลเชิงสมานฉันท์ที่ผู้เสียหายได้รับการชดเชยเยียวยา และผู้กระทำผิดได้แก้ไขบำบัดฟื้นฟูเพื่อกลับคืนสู่สังคมด้วยดี ซึ่งพบปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการปฏิบัติโดยศาลเยาวชนและครอบครัว 5 ประการ คือ ด้านกฎหมาย ด้านคุณภาพและความพอเพียงของทรัพยากร ด้านลักษณะหน่วยงานผู้ปฏิบัติ ด้านการสื่อสารและควบคุมดูแล และด้านสภาพแวดล้อมหรือบริบท โดยสมควรปรับปรุงกฎหมาย จัดสรรทรัพยากร เพิ่มเติมหน่วยงานในองค์กรของผู้นำนโยบายไปปฏิบัติ และติดตามควบคุมดูแล เพื่อแก้ไขบำบัดฟื้นฟูเยาวชนอย่างสมดุลกับการชดเชยเยียวยาความเสียหายที่เกิดจากอาชญากรรมอย่างเหมาะสมกับบริบทของสังคม

This dissertation examines the experiences of five civil rights-era rabbis (William Silverman, Randall Falk, Alfred Goodman, Irving Bloom, and Burton Padoll) to highlight their contributions, leadership approaches, struggles, and achievements with a particular emphasis on social justice. As each of the rabbis drew from their understanding of the richness of the Jewish textual canon, the study includes a survey of Biblical, Talmudic, and contemporary Jewish sources that laid the groundwork for their rabbinic activism and which compel rabbis today. Body dissatisfaction is a globally prevalent issue among adolescents, particularly for those living in industrialized societies (Griffith et al., 2017). Body dissatisfaction is considered a central component of obesity intervention (Huh et at., 2011; Mitola et al., 2007) and eating disorder etiology (Kelly et al., 2005; Saunders & Frazier, 2016). Though mainstream acceptance for the 2SLGBTQ+ community is on the rise, elevated risks of mental health challenges still pervade this community, particularly for youth growing up in this changing environment. Based on previous literature citing the benefits of creative interventions and youth autonomy, the current study sought to explore the implementation of an online, peer-led creative writing program as a possible means to increase emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing in 2SLGBTQ+ youth. Throughout the world, thousands of local mutual aid networks (MANs) have emerged in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mutual aid involves exchanging resources, connecting people to services and building community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, mutual aid includes sharing COVID-19 information, social support, food and emergency funds in informal local networks. To learn more about these community networks and explore the perspectives and experiences of MAN participants around the United States, I conducted survey research. There are 101 individuals from 16 MANs in 11 states included in the survey sample.

Already burdened with more sickness and death during the pandemic than other New Yorkers, low-income tenants and tenants of color are particularly vulnerable to additional harassment by landlords who seek to take advantage of the city's health and financial crisis to force them out. Brooklyn residents Delene Ahye, Dexter Lendor and Sonny Singh tell stories of their landlord, landlord agents and building manager’s harassment, which began during the pandemic’s most dangerous spikes in New York City. These forms of harassment included intimidation, abusive construction, constant buyout offers and biometrics and surveillance technology.

Argentina’s new non-binary ID cards (DNI in Spanish) were highly celebrated when they were announced in July 2021 via a presidential decree. Government agencies had until November 18th to update systems and databases to include the new gender marker “X.” But that didn’t happen, so those with the non-binary DNI are unable to access essential services. The Argentine government cited the national 2012 Gender Identity Law, which guarantees a DNI that fully reflects a citizen’s gender identity, as the basis for the measure. Latino immigrants face many financial challenges in the United States. Language barriers exclude them from jobs as well as financial and consumer markets. Lack of familiarity with the U.S. financial system or bad experiences with financial systems in their home countries can create mistrust and lead to Latino immigrants being unbanked or underbanked. Consumer vulnerabilities may also be exploited as immigrants turn to nonbank financial services such as predatory lenders (check cashers, payday lenders, etc.). Decentering whiteness is key in racial equity work (Grimes, 2002). However, the process of decentering whiteness often results in backlash from Whites also known as White fragility (DiAngelo, 2011). I exited from commercial sexual exploitation eight years ago. Here, I share my reflections on how my actions directly impacted other women. I describe how my participation in the sex trade adversely affected the wives and girlfriends of sex buyers. I posit that sex sellers negatively impact these vicarious victims by subscribing to and endorsing “sex work” ideology. I assert that the collective good of all women is diminished by viewing sexual services as a market commodity. I stress that the collective good of all women is enhanced by assuming responsibility and compassion for one another.

This article offers feminist arguments for the reconsideration of consent as a legal concept, informed by insights gained through the work of the #MeToo movement and other feminist campaigns. It suggests that consent may be seen as legally compromised in certain contexts of structured gender inequality, such as domestic violence, workplace sexual harassment, and prostitution. The legal understanding of consent in such contexts is antithetical to the conception of consent as “freely and voluntarily” given within a mutual sexual relationship. Objective: This research examines how Cuban immigrants experience cope and adapt to the United States. Cuban immigration is associated with specific stressors related to the immigration experience and the necessary process of acculturation and assimilation. These major stressors can result in mental health concerns among Cuban immigrants; however, no studies have examined how acculturation may influence Cuban immigrants’ coping skills and resultant mental health concerns. This unique study is the first to examine the coping skills Cuban immigrants use during acculturation and the effects of these skills on Cuban immigrants’ mental health. This paper draws on data collected as part of two larger studies to set out the differences, according to women seeking support, between the feminist responses of the specialist women’s sector and the issues-led responses of other agencies. The first study examined the processes by which women enter, endure, and exit relationships with abusive men. However, there is a dearth of research on IPV experiences among marginalized populations in Western countries. Over the past decade, IPV research has shifted from a focus only on physical and sexual violence to include coercive control experiences. These include a continuum of nonviolent behaviors centered on maintaining dominance over one’s partner. However, the empirical literature on examining coercive control among women in prostitution within non-commercial intimate partners is lacking. This article discusses the need for greater conceptual clarity of the term survivor. It raises questions about the propriety of the term to refer to the victims of sex trafficking. It points out that in the Indian context, the term victim is legally and operationally defined. It cautions against the hasty incorporation of the term survivor into public policies addressing the trafficked victims' problems. Different social platforms use the term survivor differently, and the difference is not nominal. The use of the term survivor is both casual as well as intentional.
