The U.S. health system’s “sick care” model — as designed — currently spends $4.3 trillion annually to treat its people once they become ill, yet it has done little to meaningfully advance their health and well-being. In fact, research consistently demonstrates that socio-environmental factors and individual behaviors — the social determinants of health — have a far greater impact on health outcomes. Responding to this research, in 2017 the Episcopal Health Foundation launched the Texas Community-Centered Health Home Initiative. From 2018 through 2020, the Jamie and Denise Jacob Family Foundation made grants to 17 youth development organizations in Detroit that were at varying levels of readiness to advance college success outcomes with their program alumni. At the same time, it was funding three collaborating capacity-building organizations to structure and facilitate a professional learning community that would support the youth programs in improving outcomes for “striving students” — young people who are less likely to graduate college because they come from families or communities with less access to opportunity and resources. Different kinds of action entities need different theoretical frameworks. A theory of change hypothesizes how an intervention is expected to achieve desired impacts in the world. A theory of philanthropy articulates a foundation’s role in supporting specific kinds of theories of change. This article extends that analysis to a theory of philanthropic alliance, which explains and hypothesizes how several foundations working together can have greater collective impact than they could working separately. Much of central Appalachia has experienced an outflow of people, skills, and capital and as a consequence has been one of the models for community failure going back for over a century. But there are growing numbers of people and organizations that do not accept this fate as inevitable. The Public-Private Partnership (P3) approach is a viable option to address the slow growth and burgeoning need to deliver infrastructure projects and services by state and local governments. This study focuses on identifying critical success factors (CSF) that influence the success of P3s for local government service and infrastructure delivery. A framework is presented for integrating relationship and project management CSFs identified from previous literature into P3s. In addition, public agency entrepreneurial orientation is introduced as a potential CSF – a focus that has been absent in previous P3 CSF literature. The study site organization lacked financial resilience to ensure the provision of social services to populations reliant on these services, including before, during, and after emergency conditions. Abstract: The earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010, caused massive destruction of its capital city Port-au-Prince and its suburbs and killed over a quarter of million people. The recovery period that followed required effectiveness to plan and mobilize resources. The magnitude of the destruction, lack of local recovery plans or previous disaster experience, and scarcity of local resources inspired the creation of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC), a compilation of local and international stakeholders who agreed to collaboratively address the recovery challenges. However, without a resource development plan in place, or unforeseen emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic, some nonprofits struggle to meet annual fundraising goals. The purpose of study was to conduct a strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis of an organization’s fundraising plans to assist in creating an annual resource development plan. يهدف البحث الى تسليط الضوء على دور سعر الفائدة وفاعليته في توجيه مدخرات الافراد وايداعها لدى المصارف خلال مدة البحث (2005-2019)، اذ يعد سعر الفائدة احد اهم العوامل التي تعمل على تحويل مدخرات الافراد الى ودائع، تم قياس العلاقة لمتغيرات البحث بالاستعانة بالأساليب القياسية المتمثلة في برنامج (12E-views) بالاعتماد على انموذج الانحدار الذاتي (ARDL) لبيان العلاقة الدالية بين اسعار الفائدة ونسب مساهمة ودائع المصارف المتوسطة الى اجمالي المدخرات، ولعل اهم الاستنتاجات التي تم التوصل اليها هي وجود علاقة تكاملية طويلة الاجل بين متغيرات البحث.

هدف البحث إلى التعرف على تأثير توظيف بعض من استراتيجيات الإنتاجية الخضراء (المسئولية البيئية المشتركة، إبداع المنتج الأخضر، إبداع العملية الخضراء، الإنتاج الخضراء) في تعزيز الميزة التنافسية , من خلال اختيار عينة من ثلاث شركات مختصة بتعبئة المياه المعدنية ضمن محافظة البصرة وهي (شركة الجنائن المعلقة، شركة درة الخليج، شركة العالم)، ووظفت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي؛ وبلورت الاستبيان كأداة لجمع البيانات الأولية من عينة البحث والتي بلغت( 108 ) في الشركات محل الدراسة، وفي ضوء برنامج SPSS، وتوصل البحث إلى جملة من النتائج التالية: الشركات محل البحث تطبق استراتيجيات الإنتاجية الخضراء بدرجة كبيرة جداً (4.41)، وتعمل على تقديم سلع ومنتجات …
