On the basis of available published literature it is attempted to study the concept of IR, its usefulness and availability in academic institutions, user’s responses thereon. It is found that the concept is very useful to the students and researchers to have free access to required information easily and on time. The concept of copy right law has visible impact on development of IR. With these gathered information the researcher’s attempt to study the status of implementation of IR in selected universities and research institutions of North East India is also hinted.

The study was about the Impact of Continuing Professional Development programs on service delivery at Uganda Christian University Library. The main objective of the study was to assess how CPD programs have affected librarians’ service delivery at Uganda Christian University Library. The study employed a descriptive survey design. Data was collected through 28 questionnaires distributed physically to library staff. This study analyzes the citations of Masters Theses in Library and Information Science of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria submitted from 2011 to 2018 with a view to determining the format and age of materials used and most frequently cited journals. The document checklists were used for data collections and the citations were extracted from the title pages and reference lists of each of the theses. Data obtained from 48 Masters Theses were examined. The paper examined the ICT needs and skills requirement for reference services in the post COVID era. Non-probability judgmental sampling was used to select six (6) reference librarians, two from each of three higher institutions in Ibadan: Kenneth Dike Library, University of Ibadan, University Library, Lead City University and Polytechnic Library, The Polytechnic Ibadan. The proliferation of digital resources has continued to necessitate studies aimed at regulating students’ digital information-seeking behavior. This study investigated the knowledge of information ethics and digital information-seeking behavior of first-year undergraduates in Topfaith University, Nigeria. The study adopted the total enumeration technique as the entire population of 171 first-year undergraduates. A Questionnaire and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) were used for data collection. In 2018, OCLC and the American Library Association revisited a 2008 survey on the perception of public libraries. Questions looked at how participants believed libraries are funded, used, and perceived. Public libraries are valued by the public, even as perceptions move away from core aspects of library services. In-person library visits and visits to library websites have declined in recent years. Strong libraries are perceived to raise property values within a community. Libraries increasingly manage social problems, such as homelessness and substance abuse. In Fall 2022, Musselman Library conducted its second course materials survey, this time in collaboration with 10 other liberal arts colleges from around the country. This report compiles the results from Gettysburg College participants' responses. Comparisons are also made to the results from Gettysburg's 2019 survey and the larger group of colleges.

In Fall 2022, Musselman Library conducted its second course materials survey, this time in collaboration with 10 other liberal arts colleges from around the country. The results from this new survey illuminate how students are affected by textbook and course material costs, how they cope with these costs, and how effects and behaviors have changed since our 2019 survey.

This report summarizes the background of the project, key findings, and recommendations.
