This paper examines the influence of access to library resources and services on the learning outcomes of distance learners in Nigeria. The study's objectives include investigating the impact of library resources and services on learning outcomes and exploring their joint influence. Research hypotheses are formulated and tested. The literature review demonstrates that library resources and services positively impact academic performance, research skills, engagement, and community sense among distance learners. Challenges such as user interface difficulties and information literacy skill gaps are discussed. he purpose of this study was to assess the accessibility of health information among pregnant women in Morogoro Municipality in Tanzania. This study was conducted in four main health stations (hospitals) which were selected purposively. This cross-sectional study involved 80 pregnant women who were randomly selected. Data were obtained by using questionnaires. Results showed that pregnant women in the study area expressed various information needs, categories of most needed health information were: information on miscarriage, information on immunization, and information on breast feeding. Since September of 2019, a task group within the European Open Science Cloud - EOSC Nordic Project, work-package 5 (T5.3.2), has focused its attention on machine-actionable Data Management Plans (maDMPs). A delivery working-paper from the group (Hasan et al. 2021) concluded in summary that extracting useful information from traditional free-text based DMPs is problematic. This research explored the lack of a determined philosophical foundational tenet in the library and information science field. A literature review explored possible answers for what philosophy could stand as the guiding thought system for the field, including social epistemology, design epistemology, philosophy of information, structuralism and poststructuralism, consciousness, and monism. Data management plans (DMPs) are essential to a research data life cycle. The DMPs should be developed as part of the research programs to be effective. For disease area research, integrating research community-recommended data standards during collection can enhance the likelihood of data reuse.
