The Institutional Repository Landscape In Medical Schools And Academic Health Centers: A 2018 Snapshot View And Analysis, Daniel G. Kipnis, Lisa A. Palmer, Ramune K. Kubilius

Objective:

This study uses survey research methods to gain a deeper understanding of the institutional repository (IR) landscape in medical schools and academic health centers.

Methods:

Members of the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries (AAHSL) were surveyed about their IRs. The authors used a mixed-methods approach of a survey and qualitative content analysis to identify common themes.

Results:

Survey results indicate that a large majority of responding medical schools and academic health centers have or are implementing an IR (35 out of 50, 70%). Of these, 60% (21 institutions) participate in an institution-wide IR rather than administer their own …

By use of methods of network investigation and comparative analysis, this paper investigates the basic situation of LIS master's specialties and its research directions and curriculum settings by 50 colleges and universities authorized by ALA and 36 Chinese "985" and "211" colleges and universities, and discusses their similarities and differences among two countries' specialty settings, research directions and curriculum settings. Some suggestions on how to improve the LIS master's specialty and curriculum settings in our country are put forward by reference of American LIS master's specialty and curriculum settings.

In the age of intelligent trip, Intelligent Connected Vehicle (ICV) is dedicated to solving the traffic demand in the future, and constructs the harmonious ecological relationship between human being, vehicle and environment. This paper used SWOT-PEST model to carry on the systematic analysis to the industrial competitive situation of Geely Group ICV, summed up the factors that affect the development of the ICV industry, and drew the future of ICV in China. The present study will investigate the perceptions of information professionals about their role in the work of digital humanities scholars, as well as the perceptions of digital humanities scholars on the role of information professionals in their research. While other scholarly literature has considered collaborations between these groups via surveys or interviews with small project teams, the present study will provide a large-scale analysis of collaborations using survey responses from more than 500 scholars, librarians, and archivists.
