This paper presents a sample survey of Georgia libraries’ services for those experiencing homelessness, conducted in the spring of 2020 before COVID-19 closed libraries across the country. It examines previous research on best practices to aid those experiencing homelessness and former attempts to implement these practices. From these practices and experiences the survey questions were designed. The questions are as follows: what barriers exist, if any, at these libraries that might make it difficult for those experiencing homelessness to use library services; do these libraries follow best practices standards in their services that help all patrons feel welcome using the …

Although there are practical, economic, and experiential benefits of hospitality technology, the increased adoption of guest service technologies such as digital room keys, check-in kiosks, and service robots can also introduce friction points in a guest’s hotel experience. Technostress is any form of stress induced by the usage of technology and this study is among the first to apply this concept to consumer behavior. The study focused on strategies used by librarians in marketing information resources and library services in Federal University of Technology, Owerri and Imo State University, Owerri. The study adopted survey research design. The population of the study is 62 librarians from the university libraries studied which was also used as sample for the study. The instrument used for data collection was an online questionnaire rated using the four-point scale. Out of 62 copies of instrument distributed, 51 copies were returned showing 82.3% return rate. Data collected were analyzed using mean (x) scores. The findings of the study revealed among others …
