The purpose of the study is to examine the opinions of faculty members on ICT facilities in the libraries of Engineering colleges affiliated to JNTU – Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Survey method of research is used in the study. Questionnaire tool is used. Data is collected from a simple random sample of 1130 faculty members out of 5272 faculty members belonging to 37 engineering colleges affiliated to JNTU – Anantapur. Analysis of data reveals that most of the faculty members (96.8%) replied that their libraries use computers. Most of them (95.2%) replied that Internet facility is available in their …

This study evaluates the Indian chemical science research output of the last two decades (2000 to 2019). We have made a scientometric analysis of contributions from India in leading chemical science journals over 20 years period 2000 – 2019. We have compared India’s performance with that of the USA. The data was sourced from the Scopus database during 2000 – 19. The study finds that the research output of the world in chemical science research was 76, 08,260 publications and it was 469,689 publications by India, accounting for 6.1% global publications share in a 20 years window covering the period …

The study examined the bibliometric analysis of the research publication output of the St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru indexed in Scopus during 2004 to 2019. The parameters such as the growth of publications, authorship pattern, author productivity, degree of collaboration, major areas of contribution, most preferred journals, geographical distribution etc are studied to attain the objectives. The findings revealed that, among the 230 publications published during the period of 16 years, highest numbers of 50 papers were published in the year 2019.
