: For the design of high frequency networks power has been one of the most significant specifications. Power usage is therefore one of the most significant challenges to microprocessor design. If we lower the supply voltage, this immediately leads to a decrease in static and dynamic power usage in order to reduce the circuit's power dissipation. Decreasing the voltage of the supply, however, often decreases the circuit's output, which is not reasonable.
The low power proposed phase locked loop (PLL) is therefore built using microwind 3.1, 45nm CMOS/VLSI technology, which, in practice, at low power, delivers high intensity output. The …

The study is a bibliographic compilation of literature sources on users’ perception and expectation of services and facilities in public libraries around the world. Paucity of bibliographic information on this topic necessitates this compilation. The bibliography contributes to the body of knowledge in bibliographic research in the Library and information Science (LIS) field, and provides in one volume, a resource to aid researchers and academics undertaking similar topics to easily locate current and relevant information sources. The bibliographic sources were retrieved using the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) library databases such as Sabinet, Emerald insight, EBSCOhost, Google Scholar, JSTOR, and ProQuest. …

Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)
The aim of this study is to evaluate and assess the initiatives and techniques of preserving traditional medicinal knowledge. The dependence on indigenous knowledge in communities is continuous as it was years back. Thus indigenous knowledge remains the primary foundation for local decision making in developing countries and it signifies an imperative component of worldwide knowledge on development issues. Research in indigenous knowledge has shown enormous growth over the years while most of the indigenous knowledge is still found in its tacit form. It is necessary to evaluate these initiatives and techniques of preserving traditional medicinal knowledge because of the …

Background: Zero Knowledge Proof is a persuasive cryptographic protocol employed to provide data security by keeping the user's identity, using the services anonymously. Zero Knowledge Proof can be the preferred option to use in multiple circumstances. Instead of using the public key cryptographic protocols, the zero-knowledge proof usage does not expose or leak confidential data or information during the transmission. Zero Knowledge Proof protocols are comparatively lightweight; this results in making it efficient in terms of memory. Zero Knowledge Proof applications can reside in authentication, identity management, cryptocurrency transactions, and many more. Traditional authentication schemes are vulnerable to attacks …

Firstly, we provide an overview of the context in which the four selected NGOs are working, …

Review Of Seeking A New Life For Indigenous Archives, Natalia Kovalyova
Journal of Contemporary Archival Studies
Thirteen essays in Afterlives of Indigenous Archives, assembled and edited by Ivy Schweitzer and Gordon Henry Jr., collectively respond to the call to reconsider the archive and reinstate the principles and practices of indigenous archiving. The central element of such reconsiderations is the question of power sustained via the Western tradition of print culture and knowledge organization and, consequently, of conflicts and contradictions amassed in non-indigenous repositories that preserve Indigenous heritage. Exploring alternative ways of preserving indigenous materials, the volume takes the reader from institutional frameworks through an examination of specific cases toward projections of digital innovations in indigenous archives …

Chat Metric For Li(Fe)Brary At Home Whatsapp Forum With User Satisfaction Of Nielit – Itanagar Library, Arunachal Pradesh, G Stephen
Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)
Good Library User service is like an analog clock where all the gears work seamlessly in a coordinated manner. The mechanism is reliable and effective but malfunctioning of just one gear can bring the whole clock to a standstill. Although the performance of library user service might not be dependent on just one factor, tracking key live chat metrics can help avoid common issues like long waiting queues, missed chats, bad user experience, and ultimately frustrated Library Users. WhatsApp is the third most used social media app in the world. As the user base continues to grow, so does the …

The recent years have witnessed an upsurge in the number of published documents. Organizations are showing an increased interest in text classification for effective use of the information. Manual procedures for text classification can be fruitful for a handful of documents, but the same lack in credibility when the number of documents increases besides being laborious and time-consuming. Text mining techniques facilitate assigning text strings to categories rendering the process of classification fast, accurate, and hence reliable. This paper classifies chemistry documents using machine learning and statistical methods. The procedure of text classification has been described in chronological order like …

Open Access And Academic Freedom: Teasing Out Some Important Nuances, Rick Anderson
Open Access And Academic Freedom: Teasing Out Some Important Nuances, Rick Anderson
Faculty Publications
Discussion of the ways in which Open Access (OA) and academic freedom interact is fraught for a number of reasons, not least of which is the unwillingness of some participants in the discussion to acknowledge that OA might have any implications for academic freedom at all. Thus, any treatment of such implications must begin with foundational questions. Most basic among them are: first, what do we mean when we say ‘open access’; second, what do we mean when we say ‘academic freedom’? The answers to these questions are not as obvious as one might expect (or hope), but when they …

Influence Of Information Behaviour On Substance Use Of Undergraduates In Universities In Ogun State, Nigeria, Ruth Owolabi, Chinyere Nkechi Ikonne Dr., Adebowale Ifeoluwa Ojo Dr.
Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)
Substance use in universities in Nigeria continue to thrive despite the government and non-government effort to create awareness on the risks involved in the use of substance. This could be attributed to the inability to identify relevant information, inability to use to information appropriately to control the use of substances and the inability to determine the risks and health implication of substance use on academic performance. Empirical work exists to support health risks of substance use among undergraduates but it is not apparent that a study in Ogun State, Nigeria has addressed the influence of information behaviour and substance use. …

Abstract
Quality healthcare delivery is imperative for sustainable socio-economic development and poverty reduction in any nation. It is a function of timely access to relevant and accurate patient health information by physicians, error-free prescription and medication, and the seamless transfer of patients from one level of care to another. However, the quality of healthcare delivery by physicians in Nigerian hospitals falls short of international best practices. The study investigated the influence of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) use on quality healthcare delivery by physicians in tertiary hospitals in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nigeria. The survey research design was adopted for the …
