It is a sad reality that racist bias is inherent in cataloging standards and collection development practices. Whether racism in cataloging and collection development practices is intentional or not, Technical Service librarians can be intentional about combatting it. This article presents three antiracist projects implemented to address racism in collection development and classification. Purpose- The study formulates clusters of Library and Information (LIS) discipline books from Acharya Raghuveer Library, Central University of Himachal Pradesh. Cluster formulation aims to identify the utilization rate of books. Furthermore, the study attempts to find the direction for collection management and developing related services for the users in the library.

Design/methodology/approach- Books circulation data set is obtained, formatted and made compatible for further analysis. The Euclidean distance formula is used to find the distance between two points on a plane. Afterwards, the K-means clustering algorithm is implemented to generate the required clusters.

The present paper identifies and presents a visual analysis of Research Data Management (RDM) literature published by Indian researchers and indexed in Scopus – the bibliographic and citation database. The researchers have used standard bibliometric methods of measurements to conduct the study such as Bradford’s law, Lotka’s law and Zipf’s Law among other parameters. The study findings indicate that India is rapidly focusing on RDM with its contribution of 136 publications to the global output of 4929 publications over a period of 1945 to 2021, ranking 12^th globally. In 2014, Springshare introduced a new LibGuides layout option. In addition to the traditional horizontally-tabbed layout (top navigation), LibGuides designers now have the option of vertically-arrayed tabs on the upper left-hand side of the page (side 10 navigation). Like the university hosting this study, schools have, to varying degrees, shifted their LibGuides toward side navigation and away from top navigation. The Randall Wright papers on Kazakhstan health care are related to a Baylor College of Medicine and United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) conducted health care initiatives among populations in Kazakhstan and other regions the former Soviet Union. The initial assessment was related to the affects of above ground nuclear testing of weapons on regional populations. Randall Wright is a former administrator with Methodist Hospital and UMCOR. Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and Punjabi University, Patiala. Survey method of research was used based on random sampling. 391 responses were collected from three user categories, i.e., PG Students, Research Scholars and Faculty Members in the faculties of Social Sciences and Sciences. A shift in library and librarian identities occurs as libraries and library workers evolve and explore new practices. These changes prompt a discussion of what constitutes “traditional” and “non-traditional” practice in libraries. Identity and gatekeeper theories provide a lens through which the process of introducing and incorporating professional practices in libraries can be understood and offer insights into how ‘non-traditional’ ideas can be incorporated into the concepts of what constitute library collections and services for library workers and other stakeholders. Monmouth Medical Center, founded in 1887, was the first hospital at the Jersey Shore. Over the past thirty years there was a limited effort to develop archival and historical collections that document this rich history. In conjunction with the medical center's 125th anniversary in 2012, a consultant was retained to evaluate the archives, develop operational policies and prepare exhibits. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree process supports the dissemination of nursing scholarship. Peer reviewed nursing journals have reported an increase in volume of student submissions over the past decade, but only some of them are initially publishable. As an alternative or supplement to journal submission, the University of San Francisco has developed a library-based institutional repository collection for these manuscript submissions that is globally findable, searchable, and accessible. Submission to the repository does not compromise rigor, and manuscripts can be submitted to peer reviewed journals when and if student and faculty are committed to the editorial process.
