This study aims to analyze and visualize the contribution of Indian researchers in “genetic counseling”. PubMed and JGate databases were used as sources to retrieve the required data for six years, which was published between 2015-2020 (February). The data were assessed on the following parameters, growth of research publications authorship and publication patterns frequently used keywords. The study also identifies core journals and active institutions in India publishing genetic counseling research. HIV/AIDS is still a major killer disease among adolescents in sub- Saharan Africa and Uganda in particular. There are many factors attributed to high HIV infections among young people in Uganda such as, multiple sexual partners, low condom use, those born with HIV and poverty. High level misinformation in the indigenous knowledge related to sexuality and HIV prevention remains an under investigated and under documented factor escalating the disease. Active learning is a student-centered and effective pedagogical approach, but there are practical barriers that can make it difficult to employ. As instructors and facilitators in Dartmouth’s Librarians Active Learning Institute, we’ve experienced and heard about the challenges librarians face when trying to incorporate active learning in their teaching, including faculty expectations, time constraints, class sizes, space constraints, and virtual learning environments.

The study elaborates the current publication trends in the field of telemedicine as well as the application of growth models to forecast future trends with the goal of determining the fitness of growth in publications using exponential, linear, and logistic growth models. The data for the study was downloaded from the Scopus database over a fifteen-year period, from 2005 to 2019. During the period, a total of 45719 publications were found with publication productivity showing an upward trend throughout the period. The results show that the growth of publications fits into the exponential model than linear or logistic models. This …

This paper presents a bibliometric study on DC, RGT, and DT of Publications and Citations of ISTL Journal during 2010-2020. The study was based on 224 articles published in ISTL Journal during the years 2010-2020. This paper aims to analyze the Authorship distribution of the publication, degree of collaboration among authors, relative growth rate, and doubling time of publications and citations. It is found from the analysis that the degree of collaboration in ISTL publications is 0.5 i.e., equal to the standard DC. It means the progress of collaborative research neither slow nor so fast. This study aims to analyze the scientometric study of wireless network research publications in India from SCOPUS database during 2010 - 2019. From this study, it is identified that India has occupied third placed and the contribution is 8559 publications and average publications per year is 856 publications. Out of that, maximum of 1561(18.24%) publications in the year 2019, CAGR is 35.98. and total numbers of citation is 25558. The paper investigates work stress and information anxiety of library personnel in academic libraries in South-west, Nigeria. The research design adopted for the study was survey method of the correlational type. Simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample population of 308 (60% of the population) out of 703 library personnel in academic libraries in South-west, Nigeria. The findings of this study revealed that the level of work stress of the library personnel is moderate with a mean score X = 52.45; SD=7.366. The level of information anxiety of is also moderate with mean score X=36.87; SD= 6.370. …

This study aims to ascertain how and to what extent the information regarding libraries is presented in the websites of the Arts and Science Colleges of Kerala, India. The contents of the library websites/webpages were analysed using a check-list containing 28 criteria, developed for this purpose. A sample of 32 colleges were selected for the study. The most popular features available in these websites were identified and the websites/webpages were ranked on the basis of certain scores assigned to every criterion. So far, there has been no study on strategic management issues at the Library of the Lublin University of Technology. The article presents the main elements of the strategic management of the unit, i.e., the methods and techniques of employee recruitment, staff adaptation and turnover, the employee evaluation system, as well as incentives and motivation. It presents a training strategy supporting professional development and defines the problem of pathology and dysfunction in a unit.

When the William & Mary Law School Equity and Inclusion Exhibits Committee decided to begin hosting a series of physical exhibits with online components, the Wolf Law Library staff eagerly offered the scholarship repository as the best place to house the online exhibits collection. In late February, the library launched the first digital exhibit, “Black History at W&M Law.” In this talk, Linda will discuss the repository structure and format W&M chose, how different material was integrated into the collection, and give some insight into what worked and what didn’t.
